How can I repaid the damage?

Hello(again)

I have cocoa soil(or at least that's what they say on the bag...) and I fed water with the PH 5.6-6. Now I see this damage after a week and a half away. It seems like P and K deficiency. She is in the week 5-6 of flowering. She has a long way till week 10 and I don't konw if I should up the PH to 6.5 (P min value from the chart) of get another nutrient solution or a boost of some kind. I use a 4-6-6 nute+molasses+epsom salts with every watering(it requires because it's in cocoa soil). Let me know what you think.

well if your 6 or 7 weeks into flowering it may be just getting its fall leaves. may be some other problems too though not sure.

You stated you saw this damage after a week and a half (away?) Were the plants watered while you were away? They Look thirst and in pic 2 they look a lot more damaged where there is more direct light hitting them and greener where it is not but i guess that could also just be the picture.

I also agree /\ ... they look dry, but, I think all your values of [all N-P-K]...NPK are too low, if this is all your plant got, it shows N def needs, where's the green ?

Well I don't know if it could be root rot.I have 1 inch of pebbles at the bottom of the pot. I always remove the water from the tray and even so, the tray is absolutely dry in 1 day. The burned bud (the first 2 pictures) was the closest to the HPS when it had no ventilation and got really hot. What do you say about the spots on the leaves. They look like K and P def? Or it could be some other thing? I still have 4 weeks to go and I don't know how bad it could get

You are most likely overfeeding- and not following a proper feeding schedule--
the nutes N-P-K ratio and PPM's change thru flower, hence following a schedule really helps keep you 'on track'...

They are most likely locked-up-- so a flush may be in order.... even if NOT locked up, a flush 1/2 way thru flower can be very beneficial!

Slowly pour thru the soil as much water as-is equivalent to 1/2 the planter size (5 gallon planter- 2.5 gallons of water)
IF you have good, buffered soil- no need to pH it... otherwise- pH the last 1/2 gallon..... If the soil is already really dry- add an extra gallon.

Do not feed or water until the top 2 inches of soil are totally dry & the planter light... then feed according to a feeding chart for your nutes and according to the week of flower it is in.... then only 1x a week, and water in between ONLY if needed!

That SHOULD fix it--
but remember- you plants will now be 'set back' a week or two, and none of the damage will heal.
Also- it takes up to a week to see the benefits of fixing her problem, so please be real patient--

I know how hard that is when your girls are not doing well- but it is actually (IMO) THE most important part of growing-- patience and learning what your plants want/need!

TY for your answer. I have cocoa soil and I was told to feed nutes at every watering. I have flushed her 2 and a half weeks ago. One week and a half ago she started to show these signs. I was away and she was watered with nutes since then. PH 5.9-5.9.
What feeding chart you refer to? I have some flowering nutes. Nothing that has a schedule. Is there some sort of standard schedule by any chance?

Feeding daily for hydro is a good thing, cocoa is hydro so you are on the right track but if you do feed daily then a flush every week should be implimented. Cocoa unlike other hydro mediums can build up salts so a flush of at least double the amount of what you feed will keep your medium balanced.

From what Im seeing heat and stagnant air has caused a lot of the mess you see. Flush with fresh ph balanced water raise your lights a little and get more air movement.

Create your own feeding chart, write down what you do and watch the plants. My veg room for example has 4 different feeding schedules, depending on size not age. My flower room has 3 schedules with a 10 day flush at the very end.

Thanks Sir.Ganga. I feed her once every 4 days like in soil(that is the time I feel the pot light and the leaves start to look droopy). I had no ideea I had to feed them daily. Are you sure I have to feed them so often? What exactly is balanced PH? I know in cocoa the ph should be 5.5-6. That should be the plain water PH or it should be another value?

As I read on the package I should say that I have cocoa moss. It looks like soft light soil. Very grinded. No large fibers.

Well now I am starting to get really worried I think I just messed up my girl. I think I just have soil (peat moss) with some cocoa grinded in it that behaves like regular soil, but maybe more airy, and I shouldn't have changed my PH from 6.5 to 5.8.

If somebody would like to help me figure this out please let me know

from the looks of things you have a combination of heat stress nute def direct burn and it also looks like you may have chlorine poisoning or maybe its just the heat burning the tips prolly not..

pic 3 looks like your lights got too close and burned your bud

im not a pro but i would say its a p and k def what nutes are you using

i also use coco and the ph is waaay too low which explains the p def your only supposed to rinse/dehydrate the choir with 5.5 water not actually water your girls i ph to 6.5 without any problems also you might want to put a small amount of soil or hydroton on top of the coco just to cover the top layer it dries out really fast under light

also you dont need molasses unless you are using organics the sugars in the molasses feed the micro organisms in the soil if your using synthetic nutrients you have no micro-heard hence not needing it. just attracts pests and a waste of money

Thanks SPEX420. I am not sure about my soil. They say cocoa moss. I think I was wrong to lower the PH from 6.5 to 5.8 because she felt better with 6.5 water . I use tap water left over 2 days for the Cl to evaporate. I have read now that clorine will not go away. Should I use a solution for fish tanks that neutralize the Cl and chlorine? My HPS is 150. Is it ok to move it further? If I place my hand over the buds it feels just a little warm. I was thinking to put a piece of glass under my reflector so I can move it closer and make some sort of cool tube. Does the glass eats too much light? On top and bottom I have some clay stones/balls about 1 inch.

iv done that when i needed water in a pinch if you throw a air pump and a bubble stone in for the few days you let it sit you'll be golden letting it just sit doesnt do much
