First time vaping

Oh wow ya'll I'm feeling great right now!!! I got my vaporizer today, it is the desktop style with temp/timer digital read out. My experience has lasted approximately 2 hours and I am now coming down a bit. I do feel like a headache might be coming on so I am wondering if I vaped too much. I started out at 15 min timer and vaped the whole time at 350 degrees.

My question is this....how long does the weed last when vaping and what do you do with the spent material?

I use it until I can't see vapor on the exhale. Also until there is less, or no taste anymore. And since all the goodness isn't vaped out. I mix the remaining "vaped" material with shake. Then roll it and smoke it. Same as roaches. But without the stickiness

BTW, I use temps of 370-375 for flowers and 380-385 for concentrates

This vaping thing has a serious learning curve to it. I went overboard yesterday (vaped for almost 20 min) had an awesome high then crashed into a headache. Today I set the timer for 11 min I had a little smoke twice but that was it. I'm feeling pretty darn awesome now!

am I doin this right?

it varies how dry or we the weed is will make you adjust your temps. Generally you don't want to burn the ground up bud. Same with the how long or how strong it is going to be. Depends on what your smoking! lol I usually get a few rips and then toss it out. Some will say you can cook with it, re-use it, etc....just seems like after I am done with it I am done with it. Not trying to get a small percentage of THC that is left. After a couple rips it is done....THC is gone, you are not trying to burn the bud at all. If it is super brown/ blackish at all your temp is to high. Every vape is different every bud is different so you just have to get it down! Personally I am good for a couple hours off one vape maybe two solid rips =) I still prefer water pipe for some reason!

I like the buzz I get from vaping, but they are such a pain in the ass. I stick to what I consider the best smoking utensil ever (one-hitter bat) and I love smoking joints. I have several pipes in different varieties (glass, wood, metal, etc) and a 2ft waterbong that collect dust.

Every unit has a sweet spot. A little practice and you will find your "special place". Just don't let the mj burn by drawing too slow or over vaping. That will defeat the health benefits.
