I get it. I thought people were misting their plants to get them wet, and then doing the trimming. lol I was thinking that was a good way to get mold started.
Where would u find this out at?I find that most people that dry trim are either very meticulous, new to trimming, or have smaller sized plants.
Which one of the three are you? Meticulous? New? Or have smaller plants? If you're dry trimming big plants... oh gosh, I feel sorry for you! That's roughWhere would u find this out at?
Watching the Duch Passion Seed Company tutorals, they recomend dry trimming.I prefer to wet trim and use fiskers but the old timers will tell you dry trimming is better . As it dries slower making taste better and the small leafs left on protect the trichlomes from light and trim damage when dry trim.. I find it all trims the same and one method isn't easier then the other . What I do find is it can become to dry if you don't have enough help to get it in a jar after hung.
I agree with this in theory, but I find trimming dry too tedious. If I have only a couple large "special" colas stored in gal jars, I will wet trim about half and leave the rest on until I pick to smoke. I like to think it's better but who knows?... old timers will tell you dry trimming is better . As it dries slower making taste better and the small leafs left on protect the trichlomes from light and trim damage....
And this is the truth. It's why dry trimming is the best. Sorry if u hate me. But it's the truth.personally, I found i Cant get a tight enough trim wet. After they dry the bud shrinks and i still have small pieces of unattractive leaves/stems on there. personally suprised this many ppl do it wet, as soon as i tried dry trimming i felt it was so much easier. one thing about trimming wet i dnt like is your bud dries too fast, and you have to jar the asap when there ready, let them go a day longer, and too dry. I also felt trimming dry was way easier, because i can trim at my leisure. if the buds are ready to cure, ill start curing with the leaves on. No need to rush and get it all done, which is the big reason i prefer. Wet trimming, too was always a mess, cleaning gunk off your scissors every 20 minutes, still get a little gunked dry but not as much. after spending 8 hrs a day trimming wet, and then finding they could still use another haircut after the dry, I wont do it again.
Probably because it's stickier before drying.those darn guys in the UK started this wet trimming stuff ! lol juss kidding. They say that wet trim makes better bubble.
I've got a buddy like this. I'm not a fan. Some people do not trim at all.
It is easy to crumble off the leaves before smoking if you are too lazy to trim.
