And also on a new tip, every time I water my gals,I'll be sure to bubble the water for a few hours beforehand, just to help get added amounts of O2 to the root zone.
I'll also bubble the water for a couple hours before I mix in the ingredient for the AACTs!
This weeks AACT will consist of:
1gal water(dechlorinated and oxygenated by letting it sit for a few days, the bubbling prior to mixing the AACT)
1/4cup Ancient Forest Compost(the main source of microbes in the AACT! These are out nutrient makers! Turning amendments into plant food)
1/2tsp Kelp Meal(an all purpose tool in the AACT! Good for adding to he fungal count and as a bacteria food)
1/2tsp Neptune Harvest Liquid Fish Hydro(Good fungi food as well as chelating properties but MUST be used in moderation!)
*For all my Alaska Fish Emulsion Guys, I learned that it lacks certain oils needed to feed fungi granted how it's produced, so it's a different beast, and more of a bacteria tool
1/2tsp Azomite(surfaces for fungi w/ minerals abound; Not much in the way of nutritional value. Just provides surface area)-
New in the rotation this week!
1/2tsp UnSulphured Molasses(microbe food; complex carb; soluble P and K!
But DON'T USE EXCESSIVELY!)
The more I learn, the more I'll be pushing the use of AACTs to the limit!
Not that I'll be using them with every watering, I just mean the variety and formulas that I use to get different results!
I always thought in the back of my mind that making AACTs were like making bottle nutrients pretty much, but I hadn't found anything that specifically said those words....
Until about a week ago!
Now that to decipher all this info
