People hate on Kessil's but I like them. I've seen them grow some thick delicious ladies.
They do more for aquarium lighting now it seems, but they produce nice results for the size, price and heat output.

Ah yeah, with 2m x 1m, 3 lamps will cover nicely.

Blackstar have a decent rep for output, but the quality can be a little China, and they have a reputation for breaking eventually. That said, many people have had their units for 5+ years without trouble. So, with the reduced price comes a bit more risk.

do you know how the yield will be if I use my normal set up I can get around 7oz a plant my only change is the lights but from what I've read I should b expecting less where as other people have told me ill be fine

With their Dense Matrix tech they could have the market on LED's for growers.
The money / risk / reward doesn't add up to them I suppose.

I was thinking of trading my Blackstar 240 for 2 H350's. One Magenta, one Deep Purple.
I already have an H350 Magenta, and I was going to add the others to my bloom room.
Move the BS240 for Veg. I dunno, I'm always thinking and remodeling.

The little I've used the Blackstar [Since November] it did well in veg, didn't excite me in flower.

UV:1 ( is this enough?)
White 5 ( What this should be at? 6500? 2700k? 12k?)
IR 1 ( is this enough?)
Out of 78 (Far red maybe? exchange with what tho?)
I am thinking about cutting off my 150=600 watt cfls (i have two and 1 extra that i dont use) and just veg/flower with this unit. For that i would like to hear your input.

INFO about my grow;
Closet grow with max 2 to 3 plants...i have 3 plants right now...
2 delta 9 brainstorm haze and 1 g13 blueberry gum all in biobizz soil.(all mix/light mix)
I am no where near a good grower , i actually burned my mother plants leaves with nutes.(still mad at my self) but i am learning. I only smoked twice in my life all in amsterdam. I need a phantom unit because of its auto timer(inside the unit) and heat shut off function. HPS and MH are out of my league because of the heat.This seems like a perfect hoby , its fun...pluss i like gadgets so buying a led is fun also.Money is ofcourse a topic, thats why i cant go for the above models.

For starters you have wayyy to much blue in the mix, plus that number of pure blue diodes are gonna give you the horrible effects of too strong blue light (bleaching and more fun)

The concensus at the moment, provided youre using modern LEDs, is that a good Warm White (~2700K) like a Cree XT-E or Oslon SSL, "fills in" a lot of the spectrum you need, while supplying enough blue and red, and being overall more efficient than coloured diodes.

if the WW in question were as above (I don't know which Cidly use) I would want pretty much half and half - WW leds (for blue, yellow, orange, red, a little deep red, and a little far red) and then Deep red leds.

Your next step is to get the spectral distribution chart for their warm white LED.

comments on your current setup....

Deep Red: 660nm 26 <-- you're on the right track with a nice bump of 660nm

Red: 630nm 16 < -- IF! the WWs dont supply the red (this is where their biggest peak is) this also good, you would want even more though.

Blue: 460nm 18 < -- too many blue photons bouncing around

Orange: 610nm 11 < -- filled out by WW if theyre good

UV:1 ( is this enough?) < --- mythical LED which does nothing (real UV leds cost thousands of dollars)

White 5 ( What this should be at? 6500? 2700k? 12k?) < --- you need to do some research here, but 2700k maybe with some neutral white or cool white thrown in the mix for more blue, though i don't think its necessary

IR 1 ( is this enough?) < ---heat LED? another mythical one

Thank you for your responce. With all due respect , i have no idea whats what. So i'll try my best to give my answer.
- Yes i have seen that ''too much'' blue light causes bleaching effect and causes slow growth but i didnt know whats ''too much'' and since i was going to veg and flower with the same unit , thats why i added that much blue. Thank you.

-No idea about the IR's and UV's...I tought there was a guy on this forum that tested the DIY farred /IR panel someone made and he said it works..thats why i added it.Also red about farred flash affect combo with deep reds on flowering and purple UV efffect blah blah.

- Orange + with two tone reds..i have added them because of this thing called emersons effect or whatever. White is also for that reason. It was in a forum that people were saying white leds combined with reds and oranges makes a great combination.

-About the whites...6500k is for veg,2700k is for flowering,12000k is for i dont know what...if i am not wrong.But they all carry a bit from each other? Okay.

*So i'll take away some blues and add them to regular reds? I still have no idea how much orange+white+blue enough for vegging so i dont know how much i should take away from the blues.

The warm white color temperature of 2650-3800K, the main wavelength for 3400Knm typical luminous flux of 1345lm. Blu-ray of a color temperature of 20000K, the dominant wavelength for 470K Typical luminous flux for 4.97lm.

Are they really selling you a phantom grow panel from cindly?I though that unit was not available for US customers due to the exclusivity clause/contract with BLU as their sole distributor here. I forgot which member here couldn't buy any of the new panels, but that's the response he got supposedly.
