Well, the stories are floating around all over Ann Arbor regarding Ed Rosenthal and his recent visit here, and they are not good. Apprently he went off on a nut when someone questioned one of his techniques, and also lost it at a restaurant - started ranting and yelling loudly - also heard his grow classes were a total joke - ed is an icon from a bygone era, and I respect what he has done, but he needs to chill out and lose the arrogant attitude

should i feel badly that I am a little embarrassed to be linked to a movement that is represented by that video....

Only a blown out 18 year old would find this entertaining or for the betterment of the cannabis movement...

Ed sounds a bit like a stroke victim to me, but I can understand someone with no medical background mistaking that for drunken slurred speech. As far as Keith Stroup goes, if it weren't for him putting his foot in his mouth by making it public knowledge that he snorted coke with Carter's drug czar, NORML would have achieved their goal 30 years ago.

Around 1998-2001 I spent a lot of time on the west coast helping register voters and volunteering at hempfests, trying to get involved however I could. Honestly I was usually very let down with the people involved. I'm not gonna name names, because they are all fighting for the good cause in there own way. I met way to many raging tweaker, pervs, just plain weird motherfuckers. The lesson I took from this is...... Anyone can appreciate cannabis, that don't make them a good person. Cannabis should be legal, yes, but it is really just one symptom of what is wrong with our country. Its much like sports stars or actors. They do something we like and then we expect them to adhere to our values on everything else too. I don't get it. That being said, I have met some truly amazing people by being involved. The best people ever.

Ed did a lot for the plant in his time... Probably still does! Too bad he and some others can't tell when they are being positive or negative.

Ed got me started, Ed gets big free passes, nearly endless ones. Its Ed man, who didn't read his books and improve back in the day? I owe him plenty grams/watt
