well there are some places in the world that have lsd legal for terminal people who will die(redundant i know). but what are the changes of making it just as anything else.

'What are the changes of making it just as anything else'..the sentence is worded weird...I do know about shrooms and bromo(a non-psychedelic lysergic acid based compound,no, not bromo dragonfly) are used to alleviate cluster headaches in people,some times lsd itself..enlighten me on your question,maybe I or someone else can give you an answer..

Check out the show 'taboo,drugs'..shows a dude who grows shrooms for personal use,hates drugs,never taken any,but shrooms every few months..hates the experience,dispises it,but it clears him of headaches for 3-6 months..and I read about the bromo,and found a documentary on lsd on youtube..showed a chemist making lsd for the government..he's allowed to make I think 1000 doses a year..maybe its 10k..I'm stoned..but it was really cool seeing him take pure lsd glowing in a black light off a centrifuge wheel.. REALLY cool...he said that they make the best lsd in the world,with a chuckle..then it goes into the medical uses of such drugs and their derivitives..I think it was a history channel thing...

I saw that exact same episode, found it really cool. It's also specifically good for the cause of medical use because the guy HATES the experience but still does it because of how much it works. He's not a druggie. I haven't seen the video on the chemist but damn, 1,000 doses? 10,000 doses? It's really cool to know that the government's ok with at least a small amount being manufactured for study. I hope to see them becoming more prevalent in society in my lifetime, I feel there's a lot of real applicable use to many psyches and I want to see what could be done with more modern, large scale researches in the hands of experienced people. I feel the tests done before it's scheduling were done, for the most part, in circumstances that did not lead into a good trip or introspection or openness. Offices, hospitals, facilities, none of them would be good in my opinion, and I don't want to be questioned by mr. Lab Coat for half a day either...

I doubt well ever see these drugs easily available to the average joe legally,within our lifetime..unless you go to portugal..all drugs are legal for personal use..

Hes not very literate... But I would say this to the op, we in the US are already doing this testing on terminal patients at UCLA. WE are doing testing in this, the taboo is already lifting. Old news, really.

they should at least legalize shrooms for them cluster headaches I've seen a show on that and its stupid they know the shrooms will cure them but they just make them suffer or break the law but fuck the law anyway if I got them headaches I'd grow my own shrooms. but its the same way with med weed it helps some people damn good I watched one documentary and this girl could barley talk takes a few puffs and she seemed normal.

That wasn't just some chemist, that was Dr David Nichols. The man wrote the foreword to PiHKAL, founded the Heffter Institute, came up with drug discrimination, synthesized the MDMA MAPS held for decades waiting for approval for human trials, Strasman's DMT, I could keep going until the post got too long. That purification scheme for LSD is pretty amazing. Nichols was quite proud to make the purest LSD in the world.

Is that the one where the guy promised his daughters that no matter what he wouldn't do anything illegal? if it is, I recall cursing his daughters, why would anyone wish upon a loved one that sort of angusih just so they would "obey the law"? My daughter, if she saw me in such pain would do everything, say anything, find anything that might help no matter what the social ramifications.

whoa, I have had random cluster headaches since I was a teen. Diagnosed by a proper MD and have seen nuerologists many times throughout my life time. I would love to be pointed a direction that would end these painful experiences. My best regimen to date is 75mg Tramadol, 1 cup of black coffee, 1 bayer aspirin, and 1000 mg ibuprofen. Still takes a minimum of 45 mins for relief. It really has impacted my life in a negative way. In school I used to get an hour nap a day if I needed it. I had my own bed in the nurses office. A pm would greatly be appreciated. I haven't been able to keep in the loop on RIU lately so... If it's something you feel I should just google, say so, I won't be offended.

It seems that small doses of mushrooms tend to lessen or eliminate true cluster headaches and I have found (anecdotal I know) that they help with migraines as well.
I have told this story before, my wife was plagued with migraines, she had to watch her aged cheese consumption and some wines and the like. When we first started going out I told her that I wouldn't take any woman seriously unless she took mushrooms with me at least one time. She did. And one day many months later she said "you know, I don't recall having had a migraine for a long long time - she chalked it up to her being with a soothing and gentle man but later we talked about it and found that indeed it was the mushroom experience that marked the end of her headaches. Since then we take them as little as two times and as much as 6 times a year, most museum doses (under a gram), and she has NEVER had another headache in the 16 years we have now been together.
As someone else posted, the guy who agonizes about having to take this chemical is. 1. probably taking too much, 2. fighting the entire experience which makes it ever so much more difficult, 3. not adjusting the set or setting so that he has the worst possible time and 4. excluding himself from family or friends so that he is forced to be alone during his "treatment".

haha that sounds like me. not me, but its sounds like me. i use them the same way. once every 6 months ill buy some spore and grow enough mushrooms to do one trip and give the rest away basically.
