Idk dude that would be for somebody who has been taking it frequently or dosed at 50mg or something high like that, I just talked to a doctor and she said that if it was my first time taking methadone and it was only 10mg she said she can see it leaving my system in 3 days..
I'm confused.
The doc has a point, I don't know where most of that substance resides and I don't know if the metabolites are sit in the fat or not.
But, it is true that the occasional user will more likely than not, metabolize a chemical more quickly than someone who doese more regularly.
Funny this should come up. my wife is changing health insurance policies (DO NOT get me started on THAT bullshit), and they want to come take a blood sample - why I don't know, and they want to know all the drugs she has taken in the last 5 years (if we were honest it would be quite a list from fentanyl to mdma). Anyway, she and I were given a few dilaudid and even though I know that the comedown from a few day's binge of this stuff is wicked we were still planning to have a nice weekend.
I checked the half life and it is 5.8 hours so I figure if she quits mid day sunday she should be ok by wed. Then again, who knows what they will be looking for in her blood - I mean these folks aren't the police or anything.
The more I think about it, the more I figure that a 10 mg dose can't possibly be discoverable like a week later. Hell, I know for certain that a very occasional pot user will test negative in only a day or two. My wife is a rare smoker, she and I had a bowl and then two days later she was interviewed for a job and had to piss for the folks.
on the questionare it asked if she had smoked pot in the last month and because she is prone to telling the truth, even at the cost of a job, she said yes.
So there was a real problem when she was provisionaly hired and the test came back negative but the questionaire said she had smoked. Their lawyer advised that she be made permanent because it wasn't her answer but the piss test that was the point.
