Lighting question

Hey guys, I was thinking of switching to a 400w hps bulb in my veg/flower room and i was wondering if i needed a ballast

if you don't have one then yes, you do. I'm pretty suer each ballast only works with a particular bulb wattage

yes you need a ballast that is what gives the light power. You can buy it all in a set online. its not like you just get a lamp and pit a 400w hps blub in it, you need a fixture for it (reflector) and a ballast, some come with a cord others you have to buy sepretly
