Its funny, people might be trolling a bit, but they are actually giving you advice. And that is- go and do some research.

Kids confused on even the appearance of the seeds.. God i hope your parents dont catch you.

Na don't worry about it. I got 5 beans from attitude that were small, and the 1 that I planted well it popped up tiny, but they're on track now and it's only been 3 days :bigjoint:

does anyone know exactly how much can a 400 hps light yeild? and also have anyone ever ordered white widow seeds from cannabis.com because i have and its been over a week now. also if i want super duper dense buds will my 400 watt give me that denseness? and how many square feet can i cover with that setup? and has anyone ever used fox farm ocean forest and if so what kindve nutrients did you use? thankyou anyprofessional advice would help
1. Yield is strain dependent and will vary accordingly. A 400w HPS works great and will produce density consistent with your genetics. White widow should work well.
2. Herbies and Attitude have worked for me.
3. In my experience, a 400w HPS will cover a 4x4 area, no problem.
4. FoxFarm is a mistake because you have no way to determine what the soil amendments actually are and FoxFarm refuses to reveal that crucial data to their customers. Best bet is to get some Promix or Sunshine #4 and amend it with various organics in accordance with the manufacturers instructions. Worm castings, bat guano, fossilized seabird guano, these are some potential amendments.

Wanderer, stop while you're ahead. You've already awakened the beast, Trousers. Don't tempt fate. Go my child, to the books with you, lest you utter even more newbish inquiries.

You'll get some yield from a 400w HPS; like between 3-14g per plant; but this is just a wild guess based off of bagseed experience and dream-bubbles; you're better off researching and growing properly.

Your getting ragged on and i understand why you came on the site; looking for help. 400HPS suxxs in my opinion but thats because I think there weak on their light output, go get a 600HPS and learn on that.. If u went and bought the book marijuana grow bible by jorge, it has really great pictures, its outlined well and not overwhelming. I bought that book about 7 years ago when i first started and it helped. But than when I understood the basics I could really relate to the help i was receiving, questions or concerns that peeps were asking.
depends on strain, but with the right attention, I cannot see why under a 400HPS u cannot get ATLEST a qp.. Aim for that bud, it will keep u smoking for a month :)

Your 400 watt would be pushing it's limits in a 2X2 area. The density won't be there when compared to a 1,000 watt bulb. The general rule of thumb is a 600 for 2X2 and a 1,000 for a 4X4 area.

I think a 400w HPS is plenty for that area. A 600w HPS in a 2x2 area is a bit overkill IMO
