2nd budget grow under fluroescent

How does she look? 30 days in veg, just put her in a 7 gal. pot and flipped to 12/12. Grown under 10x 40 watt T12's, 6x 6500k and 4x 2300k. Temps around 78-84 when lights on, down to 65 during lights out. I'm gonna try flowering under these T12's just to see what happens, I had the lights laying around and got the seed from a bag of unknown (but real good). Now my question, I believe I have a mag deficiency... Can anyone confirm?

Water has been around 5.9PH +/- .2, promix medium, I have been using some free botanicare I got from a friend.
P.s. These spots only appear on a few of the larger lower fan leaves.

T12s are not very efficient for growing, but make beastly side lighting! If you're set on florescent, you should look into CFLs, or T5HOs. That plant is looking pretty good, with the exception of the spotting. Before you flower, you should work out the kinks in your nutrients. It would really suck ass for that to start pushing pretty little hairs, and then up and die, because of nute shock.

What's your nutrient schedule look like? And, what is your medium? Is that soil, coco, something else? You should get that PH up to 6.5 +/- .1 remember, the PH scale is exponential. 5.9 is not just .6 more acidic, it's 6x more acidic. You'll lock out essential nutrients if you don't keep that PH in range.

Flipping the lights is stressful. Repotting is stressful. Doing both at the same time? It is either double stressful or it is getting all the stress over in one swoop. Your plant is stressed. Allow for some time for it to get centered. Don't putz around with nutes and pH.

I dub thee Ed the Special! Knight of the R-Tards. You see that interesting tidbit I didn't snip? It's because I am intelligent, and have experience. I know that his medium MUST be nuted, and the PH MUST be in the same range as a hydroponic system. By "not putz[ing] around with nutes and pH" he is condemning his daughter(s) to starvation. He MUST "putz" with the nutes and pH, in order to fix his problems, that are caused by nutes. That chart I posted can be very helpful, all you have to do is match up your problem leaves with the pictures and descriptions, and then google your suspected nute problems. Not putzing with his nute problem is the single worst piece of advice I have personally witnessed this year.

I think you took that the wrong way man. The way I read it, it was him telling the OP to stop putzing around and start ph'ing his nutes or his grow is failed. You said the same thing in different words. Blaze one buddy.

I am growing in promix. I feed once every three waterings with 25 ml/gal Botannicare pure blend grow (switched to bloom now) and 10ml/gal 5-1-1 fish emulsion in distilled water. I have read so many conflicting thoughts on PH that I am not quite sure what to believe. I will get the PH up to 6.5 ish next watering. I have looked over the chart and can't find calcium deficiency pics, which is what I'm pretty sure I have. I wil give her a shot of calmag next feeding. Next paycheck I'm getting 8 or 10 40 watt 2300k CFL's for her. Thanks for the help guys!
EDIT: just ordered 4 6500K 85W (actual) CFL from amazon for $40, should be here in a few days!

CalMag, yes. PH. There's not a lot of debate to the science of it. You're running a medium that needs to have it's PH maintained. Maintain it! Also, check your runoff! It's not just what goes in, but what it is when it's in there -- if you are running off at 4, you have a very acidic soil, same with 8. You'll have to dial it in. In nuteless/soilless medium, you have to provide all of the nutes. Even the arsenic and sulfur that the plant needs. That's why I recommended a nice line, that is designed to work together, and with a soilless medium or hydroponic system.

Good luck. And, google is your friend. Google your problems, the details like "brown spotting on marijuana leaves" and then start zeroing in on your issue. This will teach you about other problems that are also similar, and give you a deeper understanding than just reading our advice on fixing the problem.
