Hi all,
Once again from the autocultivation club grow in soil and organic. This is a New York Diesel crossed with an afghani to give it a shorter flowering and increased yield. The reason why it's called Barcelona Diesel is because the owner of the New York Diesel clone was from here Barcelona.
The buds of this are very very small its hard to actually see them though one can see the white covering them bellow a forest of dark brown pistils. Small bud clusters as well of pretty dense buds! No complaints at all though not jaw dropping. 8/10
The smell is very resiny with strong tones of orange citrus. This smells very afghani like, it is much more pungent than the New York Diesel though not with the mandarin tones as one would expect from it. It also has the standard lovely earthy smell with a touch of pine/menthol typical to a good afghani cultivar. I would say the smells dont resemble eachother. I find the smell of this one equally special. 7.5/10
Wow this smokes fucking beautifully! Light smoke that tingles the side of your tongue, not the strongest tasting weed but it leaves a prolongued after taste in your mouth. Tastes very similar to the smell though not as orangy as the smell and more resiny earthy taste than anything. Very good! 8/10
This really is a potent smoke. It surprised me how baked i was half way through the blunt especially cause i kept thinking about the New York Diesel i previously had which was a pretty light and gentle high. This really is strong and it takes you by surprise. It is a bit trippy and hence might make you feel a bit inspired. It has a nice head buzz with it i've not experienced for a while. I give it an 8.5/10
Overall this really is a good smoke I would keep it in mind if you are looking for a strong buzz from lovely orangy resin tasting buds and a change from New York Diesel. I take my hat off to Kannabia on this one 8/10 overall. A great representation a The Barcelona High
