Genetics: Hericules from Sannie's shop, Netherland (Indica)

Lights: 45W Flourescent 'white' x2 (Running 24/0)

RH: 60~70% (Humidifier inside tent)

Temp: 77~80 F (120mm PC Fan x3 blowing)

Medium: GH Coco Coir/Perlite (60/40)

Water PH: 5.9~6.1 (No nutes)

0000.jpg0003.jpg0001.jpg

This seedling has been 7 days since planted in a cup after germinating as above (4 holes bottom)

I have really tried best I could do but it does not seem to grow from at this point for almost 2days..

Is this looking normal for 7days old seedling?

To me, it looks kinda healthy but very slow..

Please any advise...T^T

yeah, lighting is your issue...
get those flours horizontal..
and save up like $200-$300 and get a real light!

I wasted SO much time and money with fluorescent... I wish someone had stopped me.

your lighting is fine, its your ph, ur growing in soil and like my friend astral said in the 2nd post, you must have your ph balanced to 6.8-7.0 optimal for soil.. i dunno who told u to put ur ph that low but they were giving u advice for hydroponic growing. GL

I like the cpu fans. howd you wire those?

Really?....:cuss:

I looked up for many threads about Coco coir PH level and most say 5.8~6.2..is this for hydroponic?

then, this must be a serious trouble..shall I flush them with 6.8 water?..

I am using purified water for now..

umm...I heard that PH for Coco coir should be 5.8~6.3 for the best result. is this PH for hydroponic?

I am really confused T^T
I may be wrong on this one so dont hold me to it but im pretty damn sure u keep ur ph between 6.8-7.0 for coco and soiless mixes.. 5.8 is the hydro range i know that for sure! im gunna try and find a link n come back n post it for u guys

fluros arnt so bad.. just a battle of keeping the light in the right place cuz they have hardly any canopy penetration.. i flowered a single plant in a dresser grow with a 125w cfl and yielded about 24 grams dry weight after lsting it a bit but the hps gives density ul never get with cfls/fluros

CFL is fine on the pockets if you already have the bulbs ha.. But yea to flower Id want like 40 cfls all the way around and thats gonna get pricy...

And I think you will see a decent imporvment when lights are sideways. they give off way more light on the side coils!!!

Last grow I had vertical cfls and I compare one month pics to my horizontal cfl set up now.... and they are like 3-4 times bigger!!! no joke

gl man.
