Droopy Plants - Whats Up?

My two plants, 8wks and 6wks, (grew from some random unknown bag seeds) just started drooping over the past week.
I felt positive it wasn't an over watering problem, I only water when the soil goes dry a couple inches down into the soil, and when I water I make sure it runs out the pot holes. But I'm not sure what else could be the issue.

The plants went through a bit of changes recently with a transplant, a power outage, and light cycle adjustments, could they be a stressor causing this?

seems like over watering or drainage. i think some b-52 Vitamin will help with stress.

Yup.

And personally I think they look a little thirsty too, so perhaps a tiny bit of water could help (not enough to run out, just like half a cup). Of course, I'm no expert either, so take it for what it's worth.

Interesting. I thought I tackled the watering situation. There doesn't seem to be a clear cut answer for it. Now I'm not sure if I'm over, under, or watering the plants appropriately. But as far as drainage, all my pots have holes at the bottom, and water runs out everytime I water them. Would I have to add some perlite to the soil or something?

They may be rootbound- OR if you are watering too much too fast- it can run down the insides of the planter and out the drain-holes before it soaks into the soil...

use your hand to gently rub the surface of the soil and push as much loose soil around the edge of the planter as you can, and make sure the soil hasn't 'hollowed out' around the stalk...
If there isn't much soil and it feels solid- Transplant ASAP! go at least 2 sizes bigger... (Eg: in 3 gallon? go to a 7 gallon) Makes transplanting easier on you and the plant!

Water slowly- 1 quart at a time- room temp water and wait for it to soak in.
Have drip pans underneath- and let the runoff stand for an hour before you dump them- some will be soaked up.

i dont think you need perlite! and i dont think that its under watering cuz your leaves seems pretty healthy. and you dont have any nute burn or deficiency! so it is definitely stress since you stated light change and transplant. make sure also that your pot holes are completely open. i already lost 3 plants cuz my pot hole was kina dirt closed!!! advanced nute have the B-52 as i told u. you can have it one ebay 6oz for like 12$.

OK. Cool.
My grow space doesn't necessarily allow me to go any bigger than what I'm in now though. If the plants are rootbound in a 3gallon, wouldn't they eventually go rootbound in a 7gallon? What would I do then? Seems like I'd have to plant outdoors to avoid it.

The leaves look healthy enough. I doubt they are rootbound being the size they are. Usually leaves will start to yellow and die off when rootbound. I would try and water slowly with a gallon of water wait a half hour and give them another gallon see if it helps. Before switching to flower I would transplant into at least a 5 gl pot. Though it looks like your still a couple weeks out before needing to transplant. Are you letting them sit in the runoff water too long? Leaving them wet overnight can cause them to droop. Good luck.
