Arguing with the police will never get you anywhere. Just comply and then when you get your lawyer then you go for their throat. Nothing says "Sorry" more than a tax free $300,000 cash settlement for police misconduct.

If you grew up in Texas in the 80's like that guy did, you would know there is nothing wrong with a father taking his kid on a hike with a rifle and side arm. But times are changing and this country is a joke with all it's hypocrisy.

Is it wise to piss off a cop and not answer his question? No.... Is it right for a cop to randomly harass citizens who aren't breaking the law and arrest them for some bullshit charge? No...

Did you listen to those cops in the video? They say they are exempt from the law. You fought and served for some hick douche cop can tell you he is more equal than you?

Oh nothing wrong walking with a rifle with your child. I have done it with my son and daughter hunting, but if a police officer stops you and ask what you doing with your rifle I would suggest you answer ..whats so fucking hard to understand about that. Someone was scared because they called the police on the guy. The police has a duty to see wtf is going on due to the call. This thing could have been avoided but big bald guy wanted to impress his son...instead his son saw his dad get his gun took, arrested and now facing charges begging on the internet. Now his son is sad, crying, and riding home with the police..lol I hope they got the kid some ice cream and let him play with the siren..lol

I think it's a good lesson for his son not to trust the police. Out of something bad came something good. And the cop better not have been lying about "being called out" otherwise lawsuit city, here he comes. Many of times when cops do something wrong, they make an arrest on the one who's rights they trampled just to prevent such a lawsuit.

I have to admit that I have armed my self, Try to picture looking out your window and this guy is walking up your drive way....It could get ugly...It looked like he might of been out of town on some country road, so there is a chance that he was squirrel hunting on a scouting adventure..

Personally I don't go around sporting my weapons in public..So the cops were doing there job..I don't know why he was arrested but checking on him was the right thing to do...IMO
you obviously do not understand our country very much

its not aq cops job to harras people and it def ain tlegal to stop someone for open carry in a open carry state, cops ahve laws to abide by just as you expect us to , and we are not a victim of th law it is for our protection aka when the guy siad what reason do you have to ask me or infer or assume tha ti am about to commit a crime thats harassment.

no your rights or be a victim of them

fat cop is just that useless and fat . . . hopefully he gets reprimanded(as cops get away with murder, some kind of messed up role model role models)
I've been to Tyler Texas - my brother use to live there... Police Chief will be getting some flack about the situation, count on it.

I will take that as " Hell NO I'm just a cheerleader"
See, that's what I'm talking about... You don't have an idea about the constitution... and you don't have any idea about Texas. I doubt you were even military - if you were, coast guard or air force at most. You were nothing but a support pogue, I am sure of it.

Dude I said I was Air Force 22 years..We covered that. Spent 6 of those in the 24th Special Tactics Squadron. Now once again why do you think they put him in the car and took him to jail. What are his charges.

Haha, a pencil pusher - figures... They gave you goldilock warriors Bosnian awards while you were stationed safe and secure in Italy - you know nothing about real combat... Except what you probably see on TV and the movies.

Never recall pushing to many pencils ( until my last 2 years), suggest you use Google for the 24th STS...but again you have made this man your hero, so do tell what are his charges. Did they find a warrant on him for something ???

whats this argument have to do with due process, civil rights, moral and ethical law enforcement . . . . .. . . .

this man was not complying as you need to be accused or assumed of a crime in order to be subject to simon says from a cop

I feel that when the officer asked the guy why he has the rifle he should have just answered truthfully instead of the "Does it matter, officer? Am I breaking the law?". A quick answer of "protection from coyotes" would have got this man on his way with his son. The police got a call that some body was running around with a weapon. Police fucking job is to make sure this guy is on the up and up and not some nutcase kidnapping some little boy to rape.

thing is he didnt. and is in his rights to say so

fact.

the cop fucked up cause he wasnt respected fully, and if tubbys skin is so thin that he can take a little attitude from a guy hes harassing for no reason, then maybe he should not be a cop

we are not victims of law , we are the benefactors

all 20 questions are much easier to ask when your not molesting citizens
