Navy SEALs spotted at Boston bombing.

So now Navy Seals did it? I thought it was that lone guy on the roof.
No, the purpose of the thread is that there was a terror threat that the government knew about and failed to tell the public - even though they had bomb disposal personnel at the marathon in a "training capacity".... Much like FEMA flew out to NYC on September 10th, a day before the towers fell.

either way you both werent on the plane. how about you both stfu about a man who may or may not have givin his life trying to save others. regardless of your beliefs, show a little respect for the peeps that perished that day and quit bickering about it.
That's exactly what I'm doing by bickering. When I first visited the World Trade Center site a few years ago, it was covered in 9/11 truth bullshit that a disturbing number of Americans continue to spout--it was disgusting. When I visited the impact site at the Pentagon--an incredibly solemn place--I felt even more disgusted with these people interested in the "truth." I won't permit them to perpetuate their silly notions when their ignorance and implausibility can be so easily exposed. Having contributed many thousands of posts to many forums in my time, I can honestly report that one of my proudest ever was in response to a 9/11 truth film, which I essentially criticized claim-by-claim in a 4000 word attack. The poster, who wasn't a lurker--she had a couple hundred posts--never posted anything in the forum ever again.

Ignorance shouldn't be ignored, it should be exposed. For all the dedicated crackpots who will never change their minds about anything or be influenced in all the posts we write here, dozens of other nameless, faceless users may be liberated from their own gullibility or ignorance.

How about YOU, STFU? Tragedies only count if you apply actuarial methods.
so arguing about a man that may or may not have givin his life in one of the planes to save others is applying actuarial methods? better yet find me a definition with link explaining your use of arctuarial methods and explain to me how they apply here please. id like to know.

LOL, 911 truthers are crackpots but you believe some fairytale about the pentagon, the most protected building in the world, having just one video camera capturing the impact of a "plane"... Too bad the pentagon isn't watched as closely as the local mini-mart - they got more surveillance cameras in place :)

sorry let me refraise everything.

how is bickering back and forth about one singled out man going to change others opinions? or ignorance? or gullibility.

You think the presence of security personnel indicates there was a known threat? What if it's standard practice post-9/11 to deploy anti-terrorism teams to major events? Or to station emergency teams close to major events just in case an event occurs? Why jump immediately to the nefarious explanation when there are so many other plausible ones?

FEMA went to New York for a biological terrorism training exercise. Since it's FEMA, my guess is that they conduct tons of exercises of all types at all times during the year. Suspicious that an unrelated terrorism exercise takes place in the largest city in the United States at the same time terrorists decide to attack that city? I'd say FEMA was right to worry about New York, or that New York law enforcement was wise to be worrying about terrorism.

All these exercises the day something happens - what are the odds? Air Force was on a nationwide exercise, fema was on an exercise, bomb personnel were on exercises, cameras at the pentagon were broken - so much so they take the gas station footage across the street... Like I say, believe what you want, I choose not to.

I think you're undermining your own claim about the cameras. Given how secure and carefully controlled access to the Pentagon is--that no one can get anywhere close to the building because it has an impenetrable security perimeter--why would you have cameras all over the outside? Don't you think most of the cameras were and are focused on that security perimeter and not the building itself? Indeed, I believe the camera you're referring to was at a gate that cars drove through, and that's why it was positioned there?

Some people, such as the original claimer, might actually believe it implausible that this supposedly elite Israeli special forces man could be felled by obviously inferior terrorists. The truth is that he probably acted and that's probably the reason he was killed--why isn't that worth sharing?

I don't want to turn this into a conspiracy/911 thread... I just think there are too many coincidences. I only believe half of what my government tells me and the other half I take with a grain of salt. When your government continually gets caught up in lies, it's hard to trust anything it says. But guess what? They don't give a shit what I think anyways cause there are plenty that will believe whatever they see on CNN or FOX.

I'm curious, friend, what do you think the air force does when they aren't flying planes in war zones? You think the whole air force lounges around on the ground relaxing, waiting to see if anything comes up? Of course not. They train constantly so that they're ready to be deployed or ready to respond to whatever threats arise. Shockingly, all kinds of military, law enforcement, and emergency personnel spend more time training than they actually spend using that training, since most of the envisioned scenarios never arise for the people who train for them.

The air force exercise you're referring to was conducted semiannually and envisioned a Russian bomber attack; the Russians were conducting their own similar strategic exercises at exactly the same time. On any given day in this country I'm guessing there are at least hundreds of exercises going on at various levels, from the air force simulating Russian attacks to your local county SWAT team taking down a simulated hostage taker. Thousands of governments, millions of people, billions of taxpayer dollars waiting to be spent--they train, train, train, constantly, everywhere, trying to be prepared to stop exactly what we're complaining about.

Blah, blah, blah... I'm sorry bro... But so, let's shut down all air defense for a day or two so we can play little war games - u really buy that? If that was the case, y don't real bombers just fly over and shut down their little exercise while they are distracted?

In 1999 Payne Stewards plane depressurized and everyone passed and died of hypothermia... Last communication with pilots was at 9:27, at 9:30 the plane went off course, at 9:33 Air National Guard plane was scrambled to watch helplessly as Payne Steward's plane crashed into the ground.

But I'm to believe a PASSENGER JET goes off course and flies for almost an hour off course and nobody knows shit? Sorry, again, believe it if you want - I choose not to.

What I find most astounding about all of these remarkable conspiracy theories is how competent they require the government to be. If they did it, they did well leaving us such vague clues, and they obviously avoided having a participant feel guilty and share the story.

Government is rarely so competent. They mess up so many of the easy things...

You're mistaken about that Learjet. I read that an air force plane happened to be near it at 9:54; the national guard didn't show up until hours later. On your timeline, it took 24 minutes out of pure luck that another plane was nearby, and nothing was scrambled.

So yes, I certainly believe the timing is plausible. Confusion definitely delayed the response, but that inevitably happens in some situations. People can screw up and defenses can fail.

I stand corrected... I just looked at the timeline, I got confused with the time because half was reported as EST, the other was reported as CST... My bad.

They are private contractors according to the interwebz... the same one Chris Kyle ("one of the world's best snipers" who recently was killed on a shooting range) was in.

My money says they have nothing to do with it and are more there as hired private security. Who knows they could of been doing the bomb sweeps...... military people are fairly common at large public events.

Well, since you brought it up... Here is a picture of Dan Lewin - ex Israeli Defense Force, Sayeret Matkal (Israeli version of Delta Force)...

View attachment 2620659

To put things in perspective, here's this ex-Delta Force guy that just happens to let 4 arabs with box cutters hijack a plane that is flown into the WTC... Sorry, seems unbelievable to me.
man. those sneaky jews, always doing crazy shit and helping arabs out with the terrorism.

we need some sort of inquest to find these jews and convert them to a more modern way of thinking. hmm perhaps history has some suggestions as to how we might root out and convert these sneaky jews....

So, you come out from under your rock for that post but you hide in the shadows because you are too stupid to put together an improvised ignition device/electronic blasting cap... What branch of the service were you again? Girl Scouts?
