why is my room not cooling!!!

I have a 30700 btu split ac unit with 6 1000 watt lights not air cooled and two 100 pint dehumidifiers and my room is not cooling down more than 83 degrees why? its fully insulated and everything i have tried to do is not working any thoughts?

don't know if you realized that dehumidifiers put off alot of heat, thats the first thing that comes to mind

If you put that much into dehumidifiers and A/C why not buy some flexible ducting a carbon filter and a couple fans?

humidifiers put off some heat... also so do magnetic ballast... its best to keep em out the grow room if u can.. take da dehumidifiers out unless ur room gets above 65% r.h. doe 45-50 rh is ideal in flower... in veg you want a warmer more humid enviorment... your gonna wanna either get cool tubes or vented hoods... 6 1k waters can produce some heat bro

how big is the room? have you always had this issue are is it somthing new, have you serviced your mini split, were the dehumidifiers something you just added, I ask this because the dehumidifiers may be pulling to much moisture leaving the mini split unable to absorb ( btus) heat load effectivly.At 2.5 tons I think you are rite on the threshold of the units capabilty vs the rooms total output of heat. so any added heat load or proper maintaning of the minisplit might play in to this

First and foremost, I am insanely jealous of your room. I can imagine the amount of time and effort you've put into it. I haven't seen many set ups as nice as yours that were running open hoods though.

I have been running it at 600 watt each bulb and i keep everything perfect but i really dont know why its not cooling it at 1000 watters i did the math and talked to people who claim to have same set up and they have no problem and im just out of ideas anyone know how many btu's heat a 100 pint dehumidifier put out?

Like I said with the 1000 watt bulbs you are rite at the threshold of the units capabilty, my concern is humidity (low) A/c needs a certain amount of moisture to aid in the BTU removal , is your A/C condensin the same amount of water from the drain as always ,are have you noticed a drop in the drain water output.

the room is 11x11 and this is first run room is almost all the way sealed i have a 12" exhaust fan on the lowest setting and a 10" intake fan on lowest speed setting during light on i was battling high humidity so i got another dehumidifier and that fixed it there is alot of water coming out of the back the ac unit so thats not it i was running them at 600 watts most the grow now i want to put it at 1000 watts and heat is out of control

You can get the lights closer to the plants with air cooling. You're already running your lights at almost half power because you can't cool them so that's a 40% reduction in light output aside from the fact that you can get your lights closer to the plants when they are air cooled so the whole 10% thing is void.
The loss is MINIMAL....

I'm pulling over 1GPW using cooltubes with Autoflowers.

Nice setup. Don't get caught up with the glass and light loss shit. Air cool the lights, and BLAZE THEM BITCHES!!!

Ok you have a 12 '' make up air and a 10'' exhaust, dont know the cfm rating on those fans but the 12'' I gues would be at least 900 cfm range and the 10'' at least 500 cfm , if the fans are about those cfm s ,then I would suspect too much air exchange , for your 11x11 room .if the low settings are more lets say then 200-300 cfm, then this might be the issue when your runninng at 1000 watt. . I would experiment with those fans ,on off cycles ,dampers .just somthing to verify this is the issue.

Im thinking the Mini split is most likly rated at 900-1200 cfm , so my feelings are it cant keep up with fresh air and exhaust rate of exchange.When using A/C you really dont want to exhaust more then 20% per hr. When you go above that the A/C cooling capacity changes.

also why the high humidity level,not questioning it ,but for such a nice room may I suggest you buy a sling cychrometer (spelling) very accurate testing humidity.being you have levels that might effect your grow .

this is how I would fix your problem

seal the room up and add c02, now the a/c will cool and dehumidify, you may have to run 1 dehu occasionally, but i doubt it.
putting the glass back on would def. help, and the light loss is very,very minimal with the glass in. but i run open bulbs,3,1000's and a 2 ton mini,c02. no air in or out and it is perfect, I control ALL aspects of my environment.
