Hiya, folks.

Finally got the new house I wanted and have the space to get growin' my own med's again.
I just purchased a 400w cool-tube which I will be running in a 4'x4'x6' tent until I purchase another tent/light.
I will also be running the technaflora line. I purchased the "Recipe for success starter kit". I did quite a bit of research and heards some pretty good things about the kit. Anyone have any past experience with the kit?

Annnnyway i'm waiting for everything to be delivered to the house...

I'll also be going with clones this go around. My old CG said I could get some clones off him yesterday...but we were smoking on some bubble has he had finished a few days prior...and I forgot what strains he had. hahaha.

Anyway...I will update often. Feel welcome to sub and post on this thread! Where all my old school RIU'ers at?

IM running a 400w cooltube in a roughly 4x4x9 area, i now wish i had gone with a 600w. But next grow im upgrading. If u have the resources id go with a 600w. And not a cooltube fixture either, they have shitty light direction IMO..
Everything sounds good though man, cant wait to see the action!!

Thanks for stopping by man! And this is my 2nd 400w i've bought. It's a cool tube but without the inner reflector...it's got a bat wing on top. I figure as much as 600w are these days...I might as well grab a 1k for a few bucks more...which is what I plan to do. Thanks again, man!

NP man! Always like to stalk a grow with potential LoL!
I was thinking of putting a 1000w in my space too, but thought it might be too much light for the area? I have no problem cooling the light i got now and would love to rock a 1000w in my closet as long as i can keep temps down.
do u plan on putting it in a 4x4 tent?
And what yields do u estimate for ur 400w setup?

I might see if the 1000w can be controlled in the 4x4...if not I'll have to step it up to a bigger size.
I plan on doing a 2 plant scrog...not sure what strains I have coming yet thought so I'm not really sure on the yield. I'd like to get at least 2oz per plant...set low goals so i'm never disappointed. hahaha

Just started germinating a couple Red Diesel beans I received as a gift. They aren't feminized so I'm crossing my fingers. Some of my packages should be arriving today. Thinking about doing an unboxing video. Would that appeal to anyone?

i got the recipe for success starter kit as well. i haven't planned on using it cause' i've been informed the lucas formula was a better option with sunshine mix #4 (my medium).

Ok. Trying to decide if I want to try to take pics with my tablet...only camera available at the moment. Everything is setup except for the inline fan. I have an AC unit keeping the tent at 79 degrees so that should do it for now. Now let me see if I can get some good pics.
