Don't take this the wrong way, but when you start a thread saying "I've been growing and researching marijuana for 20 years, ask me anything" that (atleast to me) sounds like your saying you know and have tried it all and are a pro. If your just giving your opinion on things, you should say that in the first place. No offence and I'm not judgeing you, just giving my opinion.

never too shallow to take shit the wrong way..but if you re read the opening statement you will process the part where I said I am not...not not a pro...i do not do 1500 plants hydro everything whatevers cup winner blah blah... Its always been medical. No human made pharmacueticals... I have tried a shit load of stuff outdoor and some indoor.. Most information transfers. not all but most...thanks for not using the broom handle to roughly

Read read read watch youtube over and over till you have tried everything. The grow bible is great. Im a huge niko escandido fan...although i butcher his name...great video. start small work on getting good at germing then vegging then flowering... if shit fails to work remember that and dont do it over again.

Cloning is very important when you breed. you want sixth gen or so before polinating with a seperated male plant. Its not hard.. do a grow just for seeds once you have gotten down the basics...for the basics read the stickies on this forum in the newb page.

Outdoors was 400g but a hector plot, indoor about 200 to 240 depending on beans never more then 9 in one room indoors....auto has been about 5o each plant assuming i dont switch the hm and hps...if i switch at 34days its about 65 70g per plant auto fem...lots of herms out there though budha has been wonders...syrup and demios is killer. (spelling)

Let's say you have bud rot on your plant. If part of the main cola is hit, is it alright to separate out the rotten sections and use the surrounding bud? In other words if part of a bud doesn't look moldy is it okay to smoke/vape that part or just b/c you can't see mold it doesn't mean it's safe b/c the spores are there?

Years ago I found vaping fresh picked bud off a plant that was harvested early b/c of rot irritated my throat. I'm not sure if it was b/c the surrounding buds were comprimised b/c of mold nearby or b/c vaping fresh picked bud isn't a good idea b/c if you don't let it dry and cure you're getting chlorophyl hits.

Now i always dry and cure bud properly.

i would never smoke or give to my co op bud with anytype of mold... if its just a branch off and not spreading then ok but use a cheap magnifying glass and spot check the others very carefully....

Take another set of herbs and dry it in the over then smoke it thats what your doing by going branch to vapor. taste like shit buzz is headache wawawamps...been there ...dont put fruit in your bags for the smell they rott and mold ya erbs haha

the only time I have ever had moldy cola was because I didnt stop misting them while in the last month of pregnancy..

20 years experience and your promoting Miracle Grow soil and flushing it ? It has time released capsules unless you purchase Organic ( if that crap could really be considered such in the first place ) . Cheap soils are not something I advise to newbies as they have bad ratios of nutrients and often lack a proper buffer and pH

2.25 Ounces per plant , I guess your teaching and preaching upon the Hazey Grapes Methodology , Just search the HazeyGrape man here and you ll see what I am talking about .. I think many people here would be happy to have 2 ounces per plant initially , but most want triple this at the least when it boils down to it and rewards for the work done and interests paid in .. Why work for a few days worth of smoke ? Legal weight limits ? Multiple Genetic Rotation ?

I agree with the poster above , why allow Thc to degrade to CBN , doing so for ones own personal preference is one thing , but too promote and teach such is not wise around here ..

Been growing 24 years myself but I do know there are many Vets here with more knowledge and experience and in due time you just may see some of them speaking up ..

totally understand your points are valid. Most of what im saying is personal preference that has worked for me over the years not etched in stone..I love to debate.. I prefer to degrade alittle. I teach my friends 20 year old somethings how to grow potent medical mj and I love it, its my music or video games...

I am new to the site as well so all questions are welcome it may help me in my own grow answer a question I may have myself..

You opening statement. I don't mean to nitpick, but nowhere in there do you say your not a pro. The closest you come would be "I am not a know it all but I am a dun a hell of a lot." That being said, it's good to have another grower on here who knows a thing or two and isn't asking the same tireing questions like what's the best nutrients or how much will I yield from this or that.

I dont think Yankee is a "CFL" grower. If I read right, Yankee supplements with CFL but uses HID.

If someone has been growing for 20 years and still only uses CFL, they have no business posting. CFL are for fools who dont want to invest in a proper grow.

How much room do you suggest someone have for breeding? In other words how many plants do you need to grow for a good valid breeding program?

I have a very good idea how many plants it takes. About 20 of each sex to start and then you thin them out and pick the ones with the best traits. I just think breeding discussions should be left to the advanced growers, when most in the newbe section haven't even gotten their first harvest yet. This post can give good info to new growers, but It seems the discussion should be more basic.
