hey boys just stumbelled on this section good to see few aussie on here most of the guys using soil in the main forum im a coco perlite man ,ive been running lumatek digitals never mist a beat and handy 3 meter cord as well.question ive always started seeds in small 100ml pots but thinking of going straght to main 14l so the the main tap root can go straight down, bit paranoind of them drying out my clones get feed every 3 hours first few weeks or they shrivel up just like my current run i know more safer in small pots becuase they keep the moisture up but quicker if starting off straight in 14l cheers .

actually mate the bigger pots are going to hold moisture much better than the smaller ones. bigger pots just means your going to be wasting a lot of nutrient if you water to 10% run off each watering. also it can cause problems with over watering but i personally think you wont have much drama with that in coco.
quite the opposite 50l bag coco 30l perlite top makes my top layer pretty dry im thinking just put 2 inch layer of terra may or may be just put 2layer coco it makes sence what your saying but not working for me but i got broad mites as well there calling it supper bug dont get any clones off mates i cant its spredding from sunshine its hit newcastle thanks for help bloke.
mate 2 heads is better than one your comments are appreciated its me probably didnt explain my self.my mate straight coco he actually over watered his clones this time around his in 11l pots so his got moisture obviously, me 2inch clay balls on the bottom about 70/30 mix coco perlite 14l pots feeding every 4 hours if i dont they shrivel up, after 2 weeks i drop the feeds theres roots every where so theres moisture up the top layer more often, towards when they hit flower 1 feed 2hrs lights come on 3hrs lights come off .when i plant them in 100ml pot staight coco there still heavy for five days or so by 7 days they got roots then pot up to 14l then 3 feeds in 18hrs better run but i loose that one week in the 100ml pots. bro we can learn from each other every ones comments count and we got the time zone how good is that cheers..

sorry waz didnt see your other post until just now must have posted at nearly the sme time or something so i missed it. i understand what your saying now. sorry i must have been having a stoner moment. i start in little pots proabably like 50ml shot glass size. never seemed to be a problem for me but i up pot them almost straight away. my little pots have lots of big holes in the bottom and as soon as i see a single root pop out i transplant immediately.
how do you keep up with all your waterings man. i struggle to feed my 2 plants every 2 days lol

i use 2 drippers on a ring tryed with 4ml straight barb but wasent socking the medium enough 160l res 5000l pump 19ml to 13ml hose,i yoused to sprought seeds similler size cups few years ago been running clones know for a while what nutes you run man an ec on your seedlings .i seen an articale on that aquaponics with the fish on alex jones info wars ,thanks champ for your responces later

im still here buck. not to many frequent here anymore but i hold faith it might fire up again one day lol. i bet if you started posting again things would get moving you always had a knack for getting this thread moving, whether it was just posting dank bud pron and awesome new strains to just plain old BS.
