I'm just trying to establish the reasoning for $100+ for 5 feminized seeds from a strain that has 2 1/2 stars out of 5. I can buy proven strains like Peppermint Kush or Vanilla Kush from Barney's for half the cost of these overpriced seeds.not sure but my advice is if you don't like something don't buy it
You can buy two packs before you get one single fucker to germinate if you buy from Barney's!!! lmao!I can buy proven strains like Peppermint Kush or Vanilla Kush from Barney's for half the cost of these overpriced seeds.
You would think they would be great because Marijuana aficionados that are well informed about cultivation would only dare shell out that amount of $ for such seeds. There maybe some newbies that have a lot of cash around, but for the most part it seems as though many newbies go to De Sjaaman, Nirvana, KC Brains, or Seedman seeds as a starter because they are budget seeds. There's no excuse for expensive seeds with terrible reviews on one of the most frequented seed distributors.so you are going to base this on a single websites shitty review system?
who says they are not great seeds, and someone just sucked at growing, or gave it a review under what it deserved because the strain doesn't fit their exact preference.
"hydrofarm sucks because sunlight supply says so."
"aficianados that are well informed"??? "shell out that amount." HAHAHA.You would think they would be great because Marijuana aficionados that are well informed about cultivation would only dare shell out that amount of $ for such seeds. Wasn't bashing. Making an observation based on personal experience in response to him offering Barney's as an unproblematic alternative. All this Barney's bashing is questionable at best.
Ha ha - indeed.so you are going to base this on a single websites shitty review system?
I basing cost vs success for someone new to the scene. For someone that is experienced in growing, then by all means spend $1k for seeds"aficianados that are well informed"??? "shell out that amount." HAHAHA.
its $100, not a fortune.
but okay, you seem set on taking information from one site and making it fact, so good luck with that.
So are all of the reviews on websites pointless? Should purchasing seeds be a "trial and error" approach?Several of the strains I've grown have low ratings on SoS. Glad I like them more than whoever rated them there.
Unless you grow equivalent to finshaggy, then you should get well over that $100 back PER seed.I basing cost vs success for someone new to the scene. For someone that is experienced in growing, then by all means spend $1k for seeds
Don't even get me started on hobbies. I have mastered fungi to the extent that my yields are monstrous. I can clone, spawn directly via grain and do agar. I also grow Peyote and Peruvian Torch Cacti, so this growing of MJ is nothing compared to the procedures to get psychedelics. As previously states the question is if it is really necessary to spend a lot on seeds. It also seems more profitable to do Cacti and fungi because of the scarce supply, but these substances are not for everyday use or for times of stress.Unless you grow equivalent to finshaggy, then you should get well over that $100 back PER seed.
if you are unfortunate enough to be that low on the totem pole, then pick another hobby/career.
Lots of strains have really sucky reviews on SoS, and you can't read any comments of the reviewers. I'm surprised they keep the star system reviews up and running. I like the following site for reviews and real grower experience and pics:There are so many seeds on SeaofSeeds that are $100+ dollars and when looking at the overall review... They suck, so how can the breeder expect to sell these seeds if word is out that the bud sucks?
