ok guys this is my first grow ever so here goes nothing first off im growing GDP and AK47 bag seeds i germinated them using the paper towel and ziplock method
after germination which took about 3-5 days i planted them in regular miracle grow potting mix. after a few days they popped out and i let them grow outside for about a week while i got my grow tent all set up inside.

SET UP

alright my grow tent im working with i got from a friend for free so im pretty pumped about that to say the least he gave me the tent (secret jardin CR60), lights (24" t5 HO with 4 bulbs 24w's each), 2 clip on 6" fans, and a timer. i added 6 24w CFL'S so i have a total of 240w total. i set 1 fan up blowing down on my plants and the other blowing out the top into an exhaust vent tube.

NUTRIENTS & Potting media

ok for nutrients im using the General Organics go box which includes biothrive grow, biothrive bloom, camg+, bio root, bio weed, bio bud, bio marine, and diamond black. im using their feeding schedule that can be found on their website. i started the seeds in regular MG potting soil but now all 4 have been transplanted into 3:1 MG Sphagnum peat moss / MG Perlite.

MISC

my temp in the tent is around 68-78 degrees all the time and my ph of my water stays around 6.5 all the time

ok so far my plants are around 4-5 weeks old i let them veg for 3 weeks total (outside 1 week inside 2 weeks lights on 24/0). im now at the end of my first week of flower i turned the lights to 12/12 last wednesday the 24th and i fed nutrients 1/4 strength for the first time today after i repotted my plants 2 are in 10" pots, i have one in a 8" and another that i started a little later is in a 6"

so thats all i can think of right now and let yall know how things are going with them i would appreciate any and all advice anyone has to give and criticism is welcome just be nice because this is my first time. i dont have any set goals really the only one i kind of have is that i want to harvest either the last week of june or first week of july. so if anyone has questions or anything else to say feel free to ask.

here are some pics of my set up and my babies right now they are from yesterday tho and i have since repotted them but you can get an idea of what im working with from them

i would go 1/4 strength nutrients for the entire grow. it's so easy to burn with all these new nutrient concocktions out there. for starting i would go with no nutrients for the first week or 2. then go like 1/8 strength. if the plant looks like it can use more food, bump it up a bit. i would get a ppm meter and document what your giving each plant. also strains make a huge different on nutrient sensitivity. i say always best to start out low. once you burn your also fucked. sure you can flush but you can never repair damage done. only learn for the next grow. once your leaves burn that is forever. you can only make up for it in new growth. on a positive note, weed is very fast growing especially under high intensity lighting and outdoors as long as conditions are favorable.

I'm gonna sub to your thread, for a couple reasons.........
I wanted to germ a GDP for the grow I am doing now, but it didn't germ, I am also a MG user, and my last grow, (first indoor grow (and First CFL grow)) went well, I am curious to see how yours progresses, and would like to share any info I have if I can.
Just a quick observation, I would skip a feed, judging by the dark green of your leaves in most of the pics.
My last grow, I even used MG all purp. nutes starting at day 21, and kept them really dark, just to the point of burn, but I wouldn't recommend that as a normal practice.

I like the looks of that General Organics Go box, that has a lot of good stuff I could use. Thanks for mentioning it, I am going to grab one of those asap.

ok so heres an update like i said i repotted yesterday into 3:1 peat/ perlite and watered with 1/8 strength nutes that consisted of 2.5ml bloom, 2ml CaMg+, 1ml Bud, 1ml BioMarine
mixed into 1 gal of water. i used about 10 oz of water for my 2 big pots and 6-8 oz for the smaller pots. and put them back in the tent i checked on them a lil bit ago and my largest plant and the smallest plant are both droopy for some reason idk if it was a complication with the transplant or maybe too much water also the leaves on the smallest plant have turned a shade of yellow idk if its some sort of nutrient deficiency or what. if anybody can tell me whats up with them i would really appreciate it because i have no clue but thats what im doing this for to learn so i dont waste seeds when i decide to buy some. so any help i will be grateful the other 2 plants look great even the one that had some bad genetics and the leaves died is looking good so here are the pics.

Ya man, I found that my plants do better if I just water in the fresh soil with straight water when I T-plant, then I feed the next water.

Got a little nute burn going on, just use PH'd water until they are bigger and older
so the nutrients are what made the plants droop like that? i think the larger one i underwatered and the smaller one looks like it has a deficiency more than nut burn but thats my inexperienced opinion. could you explain why you think it is nut burn?

UPDATE

ok so i checked the babies today and the largest one is still drooping . the smallest ones leaves are still yellow which sucks so i watered everything with plain water because the dirt was dry in all of them i think the drooping of the largest plant was caused by underwatering when i transplanted yesterday so there is all the bad news
the good news on the other hand my other big plant that had the problems with the leaves is starting to look amazing. its deveolping some trichomes? on the leaves and i think it will show its sex soon its also starting to smell amazing so im getting excited. keep the comments coming guys ill be happy to answer any questions

The 8th picture is the one that looked a tiny bit burned. I think plain water would be good just for a little bit, MG has tons of stuff in the soil already. I think some types say "Feeds plants for 6 weeks" or something like that.

Id really listen to Baka he knows how to grow in MG.

I'm not saying he is wrong i just want him to explain. I believe the smallest one could be nut burned but i think it is more of a N deficiency because of the yellowing and the purple/red stem, but if someone can clear this up for me i would appreciate it

This one looks overwatered and the PH is off. With MG everytime you water your realeasing more nutes.

yeah i think your right i think my ph is too low im going to try to raise it with some hydrated lime or baking soda because i dont have ph up/down what are some other good ways to raise ph with stuff around the house?

I would agree that it's an N def., if not for the dark top leaves.
All your latest pics look healthy, except the brown specs on leaves look like mine when they grow up and touch a bulb.
What did you want me to explain?
I was simply stating that my plants (in MG moisture control with MG perlite) are generally happier with only water at time of T-plant, and water the next time.
In fact, when I T-planted my Purple Kush earlier this week, I had a couple leafs showing what I would have fed for, but being that I was T-planting, I held off and am going to feed in a couple days at the next water.

I wouldn't use hydrated lime because of the quick release, and being hard to control.
Dolomite lime, or garden lime mixed into the soil is better, though I haven't had problems with my PH, except for having to lower my water's PH when I'm not feeding because my tap comes out at 7.9.

well think i checked the plants just now and the leaf tips are turning brown on the larger plant that has been drooping and the smaller one is still yellow im afraid im going to lose it if something doesnt change soon i need to find a way to raise the ph of the water i use with something at home because i cant get any dolomite lime or ph up/down today. i need to raise it some to about 6.5 or so so any suggestions on what to use i would apreciate.
