Your reading disability got you again I see. I never ever once said we should emulate Texas, you sir are a lying sack of excrement.

Coy, do you even know what that word means? Do you? Do I seem shy or modest to you?

You wouldn't know a logical fallacy if it weighed 240,000 pounds and blew up in your face.

Would it matter if I sourced it or used my own words. You wouldnt believe it anyways. Sort of like bible thumpers and their belief the earth is 6ooo years old

Local 2 Investigates obtained seven years worth of these reports filed by West with the state. The reports show West never reported it was storing ammonium nitrate at the plant until 2012. That report showed it was certified by a plant official in February of 2013 and indicated West was storing 270 tons, or 540,000 pounds of ammonium nitrate in "Container Type: R." According to state codes of container types "R" is the designation for "other."
Yes it matters. For one, its against RIU rules to not source your material. Two, it just shows that you rarely have any thoughts of your own, so you paste the work of others and pretend it is yours. Just shows (1) your inherent dishonesty (something I have noticed with many liberals) and (2) your unwillingness to think for yourself.

My question is, who the fuck builds a fertilizer plant in or around a town?

Between Boise and Milwaukee there are about two dozen or more large fertilizer plants and not one of them is in or near a populated town. What the fuck is wrong with this town should be the real question, or maybe Texas itself. The real safety issue is having the fucking plant in a town. Just strange stupidity to me.

Never cared for either. If I listen, its to Jason Lewis. Of course, if I do say something, it is my opinion, not some cut and paste.

LOL!

now that's funny. someone takes the interweb way too seriously.
Nah, just used to posting on other sites where people actually think for themselves, and plagiarism ends in bans. I suppose that is why you and Cheezus like this place, you can copy and paste to your hearts content. Otherwise you wouldn't be able to string more than three complete sentences together.

in texas you can be as stupid as you want as long as you cite your source and provide a link, dont ever form an opinion that can not be unequivocally proven . . . . to think against the grain is wrong

I think you're confused. You see, it's liberal radio shows that are relegated to shitty, little AM stations. No one wants to listen to that crap. Rush has an entire radio network comprised of the strongest FM stations in just about every major market. But, I'm sure he chooses AM stations in certain areas because it is advantageous to his program. Personally, I can't listen to him for more than 5 minutes. I don't know who Alex is, so I can't comment on him.

I have to agree with brotherjericho, Jason Lewis is one of the best shows on the airwaves. WRDU out of Raleigh didn't renew his show about a year ago so they could bring in this progressive douchebag trying to pass himself off as a moderate. The explanation was that the demographics in Wake county had swung to the left with all the lib rats abandoning ship and moving here (they said it nicer, but that's EXACTLY what happened) from the Northeast. I happened to be listening on the way to an install yesterday, he's already gone and they're replaying the Conservative morning show in his place.

Apparently, not even most liberals can stand to listen to a liberal talk for more than a few minutes. And here I thought it was just me.

I wouldn't hold to much stock into the popularity of a show be it radio or tv. Hell Americans seem to enjoy bullshit and distractions. TV shows like Honey Boo Boo, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, BuckWild, Housewifes of ( whatever city ) always seem to get high ratings. Feed people drama and bullshit and they seem to love it. My friend what you are witnessing is Americans getting dumber by the day.

I've been on all these boards and I say that neither you nor they know what plagiarism even is.

We bring references. Copy and paste isn't that, at all. So, go back to your hidey hole and don't compare the USA to Commonwealth and don't compare this board to green town or whatever.

HOLY SHIT!!

That's like the dog saying its really a cat, when you know its a dog.

CNN, ABC, CNBC, and MSNBC are doing all the thinking for you. I have never heard one single original thought from you EVER. Its just like you saying that Perry said he wanted to get rid of all regulations, he didn't say that, he just wants to get rid of the EPA ones. Of course you read that he wants to do away with them all and you just ran with it thinking its totally true. You never once actually did any thinking and looked into it yourself did you?

Plagiarism would mean they are trying to use others words as their own. I don't really see that, I don't think people think we can't tell a copy/paste job. It absolutely could be considered a copyright infringement though, especially when people post entire articles without crediting or linking.

The plant is actually on the very eastern edge of town, when it was first built there was no town nearby.

People build homes next to rivers, then are bewidered when it floods. Then they build the same house on the river and again are devastated when it floods again.

People built near the plant most likely because there had never been a major accident there and the zoning laws allowed it. The plant has been there for generations.

I actually don't think the anhydrous blew up, most likely a liquid hydrogen tank. Pretty fucking hard to blow up nitrates without mixing it with diesel and then producing a force strong enough to start the reaction. I believe that if the Nitrates really did all blow up that there would be no survivors and the entire town would be missing from the earth.

I used to blow up shit in the military and we made ANFO bombs to level hills so we could park vehicles or setup bivouac on sites. a 50 gallon drum of 5 gallons diesel+ 200 pounds of ammonium nitrate all started with Det Cord or HE Primers, makes a crater 20 feet in diameter. Imagine what 1200 times that would have done.

Copy and paste is a short cut
It prevents people from saying i'm making shit up. And I usually post the link.

Almost. Plagiarism denotes commercial interest. No ads on this board, like greentown. But, I agree that it is good form to not copy or just link, but say something and add a reference to what you say.
