Help!! Plants dying?

WOW!! Only one of the 2 white Widow X Big buds has this happened to.... Left is a topped White Widow x OG KUSH.

Right side are my two White Widow x Big Bud's FEMs.

I'm 1 month in from seeds, I just moved two of the plants from the left side to the right side. I noticed the stem was rotted; but couldnt tell if you looked down... I taped it with eltrical tape as thats all I had right now to brace the stem. What could this have been?

PPM: 1009
PH: 5.6
Water Temp: 78.6
Temp: of cab: 80.1 with lows of 75 and highs of 81.1
RH: 61%-54%
Right now I've added 120 ML of Canna A & B -- 50 ML of Magical -- Should I flush the plants for a week or wait till Sunday when I dump water, should I add my Rhizotonic to the mix? What should I do, I dont want to stress her but same time I want to fix the damge with out causing to many issues...What is this from?

By the way the lime build up wont be a problem anymore, I bought a water filter and installed it on my house mainline so my lime isuse shouldnt be a issue after this next week.

this is weird, the pics looks really weird to, it does look rotted though, if the plant is still responding well and looks good perky every day then theres obviously a good connection with the roots somewhere because no roots=no happy plants and they dont look to sad to me...maybe im not seeing this right. good luck




but theres a cpl obvious problems, your roots are obviously to wet, so you either need to slow the drip down or not run it as long, only water and bacteria cause that kind of fungus rot. sorry.its fucked up, those roots dont even look like roots, is that waht that white shit is? it looks like fucking coral or some type of huge bacteria lifeform lol

My guess was the drip was dropping on the stem which made it soft, allowed heavy build up of lime and made my stem soft and crack which allowed water to seep in and rot the stem..

The plats root base is the biggest of all 3 plants.... Also the RH can't be, other wise all 3 plants would be effects and there not and again dri

What can I do right now? Stop nuets and how long should I keep the stem wrapped for?

im not entirely sure something like tha tcan be fixed at this point, but as i said before if the plants still looks healthy and is growing with no wilting or curling or yellowing then maybe the plant found another viable source root to connect to the rest of the rootball, my guess is your guess is right, if a little water dropper is dripping on a stem all day everyday non stop it would eventually get soft and slowly start to rot.


waht coho means is, once pathogens get into root systems its very easy to start spreading to all your other plants, your best bet would be buckets or seperate res. so it might be pointless keeping a plant that is just going to make your other plants sick, but u could prob take clones and end up with a few of those females instead of one...

Think adding some fresh water and some super thrive; will be a ideal step on a start of a cure fr the issue I have?

Also how many ML per gal should I use?

Bottle said 1ML per gal so I had done 20 ML

I figured its a good time to use it as I've always used it when high stress comes in to play.

I'd be willing to make clones if my plant showed signs of distress but since I don't see any signs I'm going to gamble this and keep my plants alive. I will keep the tape on the stem for 5 days and hopefully the stem would have gotten back to health to hold it up together.

I taped the stem up, not a super tight bond, I trimmed some lower branches around the bottom to take some weight and make the brace a little easier to connect to stem.

I then had taken a large toothpick and stuck it down into my net pot, and twist ties to wrap the toothpick to my stem, it now has a brace. I topped just one node on the top to take a little top weight off.

I added 20 ML of super thrive to prevent any assive stress...

I'm not going to flush the water Sunday, ill wait until Tuesday or Wednesday I don't want to move or disturb anything. Ill let my stem get strong enough before I attempt to move my res any time soon.

Ill keep you all posted with what comes about.

I grow using a nutrient film technique, with gutters and I ran across a similar situation once, The problem was oxygen in the water, I did not have any, So I hooked up my air pump from the fish tank and put it into thewater. The more oxygen the better. Looks like the roots are not getting any and starting to rot, plus bring your Ph up to 5.8 during veg and 6.2 during flowering. Try to get a temp probe and see what the temp of the roots are should not go over 75 degrees. Does not look like the tip of the leaves are burnt so I don't this its a problem with the solution? plus make sure your getting fresh air onto the room Just my thought good luck...
