DO NOT FUCK AROUND ON/near THE SOUTHERN BORDER HIGH WAYS, its crawling with border patrol with dogs, and they will stop you, if nothing else just to stick their pig noses into the car and ask if you are an american

Go to freightquote.com or freightcenter.com. I consistently send shipments of large 500-1000lb steel products I build. From a midwestern state to San Jose California is $380. This was a 12'x5'x6" crate weighing 500 lbs. I just sent one yesterday from the same state to the Carolinas. A 6' x 8' x 6" crate weighing 600lbs was $130. I would find something to ship, like a washer or dryer. Pick up a used one from Craigslist. Do your thing. Crate it up. http://www.yrc.com/files/pdf/shippersGuide.pdf . Drop it off at the terminal. Have it sent to a residence (you'll want to be sure to pay for a lift gate with this option) or pick it up at a terminal near your destination. Anyone who is transporting is needlessly risking years of precious time. Freedom always trumps money. Trust me. Even if I have to transport 10 lbs an hour away, don't believe for a second that I'm not triple bagging it, putting it in my locked trunk, and having my car towed to where I want to go. Transporting $40,000 of product risk free is well worth the price of the couple hundred dollar insurance policy. Sucks to see so many people doing time for not using their minds. Fuck the swine!

1-95,mid atlantic states, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, mostly northbound to New York, be aware, looking mainly for Florida to New York traffic. Dark blue suv's with the dark windows , state police in Delaware, always nailing speeders with tons, always. speed limit 60 mph, sit in the middle of interstate, and love to blend in the constuction zones, with chase cars at the end. Can't figure out why they speed, with large amounts. it's constant.

Fuck the Police ... I stay quiet and i only sell to friend because of them!
I love the police, they enforce unjust laws because they're told to and in the process of shitting and urinating on their morals they so create a market which allows the humble and wise among us to prosper much easier than perhaps would be the case if it were legal. Don't hate. This is all just a big game.

Oh yea and If you travel east of Indiana and west of Pennsylvania watch out for the cops. .

This is fucking genius! I like you stranger. You have a good head on your shoulders and you think outside the box. People should listen to you.

Funny. My friend and I were pulled over last week in the area you mention, going northbound on I-71, for "tailgating". Everyone sees cops and wants to go from 72 to 60. Of course it was a profile stop, had a K9 in the back of the SUV. Didn't help that it was a rental. Of course I knew what was up as soon as he asked me to get out of the car. I said "Sure, officer. And while we're at it, would you mind searching the car? Because that's what we're here for, right?" LOL. Poor guy, thinks he's out saving the world. So another SUV pulls up and they split my friend and I each into the back of an SUV, do the cross-examination thing to see how different our stories are, then they run the dog around the car. Dog doesn't do anything. Do it again. Dog hits on the rear driver side door. They tear the rental car apart. Nothing. They're scratching their heads, baffled. Think somethings in there. Officer comes back to the SUV. I ask him why they train dogs to false hit. LOL. Guy issues me a warning for tail-gating, tells me there could've been a hundred pounds of marijuana in that car yesterday, that cars been searched numerous times, the panels were practically falling out, he says. While he's writing the ticket, I actually see the tow truck go by! LOL. Started laughing, couldn't help it. Officer is baffled, but lets us go. Tow truck driver is unhooking the car when we pull in. Hope this helps.

they will rob you and steal your shit every time.....and sometimes give you a case after they steal from you-
they have x-ray guns and cash guns that detect everything!

.....they can even see up your bunghole while traveling 80mph-

i have a friend retired cop and used to tell me how his partner could just look at cars and tell everyone that was dirty!

You ordered the seeds from a seed bank overseas. They made it through the customs and were delivered with no problems. You germinated those seeds and nurtured them and they grew to become beautiful mothers giving you many many clones. You planted them clones and babied them for months on end until harvest time. When harvest time came you cut, trimmed, dried, cured, weighed, and packaged it. For months you have stayed under the radar of law enforcement and in just a few days all that work and risk will pay off; for all that's left is getting your product to market. For some this just means having your buddy stopping by to pick it up, but for others this means having your product driven hundreds, or even thousands of miles for those California to east coast runs. All that stands between you and your payday for the year is the open highway.

I looked around on RIU and I didn't come across any thread dealing with this topic. So please post anything dealing with interstate interdiction hotspots. If the info on this thread saves just one person from getting busted then we did our job. So enough with the intro. and onto the topic.

AVOID I-80 IN LASALLE COUNTY FROM PERU, ILLINOIS THROUGH MARSEILLES, ILLINOIS.
This stretch of I-80 has always been risky but since November last year it has gotten much worse with the creation of a new task force named SAFE(State's Attorney's Felony Enforcement). SAFE was created by Lasalle county State's Attorney(States attorney=District attorney) Brian Towne. Besides SAFE you also have to deal with Illinois state police. But that's not it. On that stretch of I80 you pass through a few towns and all those towns police departments patrol 80 as well. Those towns are Peru, Lasalle, Utica, and Ottawa. The town police dont patrol as much as SAFE and state but they are out there. Peru police sit right off of 80 and have busted a few people who have gotten off the highway to get gas or stop at the fast food places on Route 251. All the different police units on I80 are looking for the same thing... out of state plates. The plates that will get the most attention are California, Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas. Really any out of state will get attention but the ones I just listed will get the most. As far as reasons to pull you over. The most common are of course following to closely, improper lane usage(not using your turn signal), and speeding. Speeding can be as little as 2 mph over the limit, which is 65mph in Illinois. I was in Lasalle county jail last fall for a couple weeks. I was in a small cell block with only 14 people or so. Out of those 14 people 2 were in there for weed. They were separate cases but both coming from Cali. One of them was pulled over for 2 mph over and the other was part of a 3 person operation were one car with 2 people were driving a few miles ahead of the car carrying the weed. The car carrying the weed was pulled over and the cops found the 50+ lbs of weed. The cops then had the driver call the blocking car that was a few miles ahead and tell them that his car broke down. So the people in the blocking car came back and of course the cops were there waiting for them. Anyways I kinda got off topic. If you are driving through with out of state plates and get pulled over with drugs then its basically already over for you. The cops are going to ask to search the car. If you say no they are going to bring the dog around the car. A few years ago a guy was pulled over by police and he refused to give consent to search his car. So the cops, with no probable cause, took a dog around his car. The dog hit on the car and the cops then had probable cause and searched his car which contained a few hundred pounds of weed. He was found guilty. He took his case all the way to the US supreme court. The supreme court ruled that cops didn't need consent or probable cause to bring the dog around his car cause it didn't violate his constitutional rights cause the search wasn't invasive. That case all began in Lasalle county and the guy was pulled over on I-80.

Well I didn't intend to type all that I did, I kind of got carried away. So my best advise is DO NOT TAKE I-80 east bound(east bound they are looking for drugs) or west bound(west bound they are looking for cash). If heading to Chicago you can bypass this stretch of highway by getting off I-80 as soon as you cross into Illinois from Iowa and get onto I-88. Or you can take I-74 to I-55 North or I-57 north and it will take you right into the city. If you decide to say fuck it and try to make it through this section of I-80 save $15,000 for bond money if you want to bail out immediately. Or you can ask for a bond reduction and they should lower it to $100,000 which means you pay $10,000. Illinois does not use bail bondsmen. If you want to bail out you pay 10% of the bond. So if bond is set at $150,000 you need to have $15,000 cash brought to the jail to bond ya out. Also if caught in Lasalle county money talks. Meaning you pay enough in fines you may not even see the inside of a prison cell or if so it could be a few months instead of years. For example you get caught they may offer you 6 years in prison, or if you pay a $10,000 fine before your next court date you can get 60 days county time instead, and off 60 days county time you only have to do 30 days cause they cut your time in half. Ok once again I'm getting carried away on typing. Below are a few links about I80 and Lasalle county. Take care everyone and be safe. Later

Judge Ryan has lost his mind. Recently he has decided to increase bonds to 1 million-2 million....for 13lbs of weed. One poor girl got caught with 3g of heroin and he gave her a 1 million dollar bond........STAY OFF I-80 AT ALL COST'S. Oh yea if you see black SUV's sitting in the median that is the SAFE unti I was talking about. They normally sit right after Peru, illlinois exit for Rt. 251. PLEASE BE CAREFUL

Grenada County, Mississippi
On a recent trip from the south to the midwest a month and a half ago we decided upon I-55 which we got onto in Louisiana. We were to take I-55 all the way straight into our destination. The speed limit is 70mph. We had two cars, one a blocker and the other the cargo. We were driving around 1:00am and going 74mph. Coming over a little bridge(it was a overpass for the road we were going over). As soon as we hit the peak of the slightly elevated bridge there was a MS state cop sitting on the right shoulder. He then got behind us and turned on the disco lights. The cop pulled us over and gave us a ticket for speeding(74 in a 70). He then asked to search the car which I agreed to since we had nothing in our car. Not only did he search but after finding nothing he then proceeded to call for a k9. So we had to sit and wait another 20 minutes or so until the dog arrived. They did a walk around and the made a hit on the back of the car by the gas tank. So the cops were really interested now, but still could find nothing cause like I said we didn't have anything in that car. So anyways. These SOB's actually had my car towed back to the cop shop and really went to town. Completely went through the car top to bottom and then some. They had us locked up in a little room for what seemed like hours but was only really about 90 minutes. So after they searched the car there they finally let us out and on our way. We didn't receive an apology or anything. Actually another cop(not the one who pulled us over)told me that they could take our money if they really felt like it cause all he would have to say is that he believed it was to be intended for the purchase of narcotics. I only had $435, a passenger had around $500, and his wife had about $150. Anyways by the time we got the hell out of there the other car already passed into Arkansas.

So about 2 weeks ago on a trip back down south I took I-55 again. I was driving southbound around 3:00pm and sure as shit I get pulled over again going 75mph in a 70mph. This time though my car wasn't searched or anything but still got another ticket for speeding. Now true in both instances I shouldn't have been speeding but going 4 or 5mph over the limit normally isn't a big deal and most cops won't pull you over let alone write a ticket. If I was driving the cargo then clearly I wouldn't have been speeding at all.

The moral of the story....BE CAREFUL driving through GRENADA COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI! Besides that area I've never had any problem's on I-55 from the start of that highway in Louisiana all the way to the end in Chicago.

CHICAGO, ILLINOIS
A quick note about chi-town. Last month when Chicago named Joaquín Guzmán Loera("El Chapo Guzmán"), the head of the Sinaloa Cartel(considered the biggest and most powerful cartel in Mexico), Public Enemy #1. This is the first time that title had been given to someone since the days of Al Capone. While they were giving the press conference about this development they also said that they were going to start posting cops at certain "choke points" along the highways/expressways leading into the city(I-90/94, I-55, I-290), and also at certain off ramps, those leading to predominantly mexican/latino neighborhoods like Pilsen, Little Village, etc. So I'm guessing these off ramps of I-55 would be Central Ave.(currently under construction), Cicero Ave., Pulaski Rd., California Ave., Ashland Ave., Damen Ave., so basically anything from Harlem Ave. into the city. The same off ramps would probably apply to I-290 as well. For I-90/94 anything from 47th through Canalport. If you have to get off on one of these ramps I wouldn't freak out or anything though. These are busy roads and there is always traffic so I'm not sure exactly how they really anticipate making more arrests or anything cause I don't see how they could possibly profile that many cars. Honestly how could they? I think it was just something to say to the press. But I figured I might as well at least bring it up so it will hopefully warn anyone making a Chicago run to come to a complete stop at the lights on the off ramp, to use turn signal, and everything else. It would truelly suck to make a 1000+ mile trip to only get busted a few blocks away from your drop off. Stay safe everyone!

What about getting through Colorado west to east, anybody have any suggestions? Is I-70 in CO bad. Now that I-80 is all screwed up I want to figure out the best way through CO. I need to move quite a bit.
