So I have a rather talentless friend whose life consists of surfing couches and spamming pot websites with his vlog.

Well, this friend tells me he now has a "job" that will pay him about $5,000 to $10,000 a month for his writing, which is rather juvenile and certainly not anywhere near the level of any professional writer.

he has no clear idea when he will get paid and says he is just waiting on an editor for "approval". he refuses to tell anyone who he thinks will be pay him.
