??? The Syrian govt used a biological weapon on their civilians and massacred woman and children. Feel bad for the people. Not Syria itself. Israel just wants this genocide over. And for Syria to topple.

You guys must not forget that it was European persecution of Jews in the 19th century that lead to an INTERNATIONAL agreement to establish a Jewish homeland in Palestine. This is a coupla hundred years after the Roman-Jewish wars reduced the native Israeli population to a vast minority.
So in more recent time, the Brits conquered Syria sending Jewish families there and increasing Jewish-Arab tension. Of course there was the Balfour declaratyion of WW1

Zionism is one of the major causes of violence in the Middle East, and for that matter the world. Forget what has happened in the last 2000 years, we are talking about the present and unless Israel stops acting that it is above the rule of law, there will never be peace in the Middle East. Syria will just be another example of military action taken to remove another threat to Israel, and they are loving it.
