Can I bud my plants early?

Hey, some shit came up and I have to either bud my plants earily or get rid of them. I have 6 white widow plants they are about 2 foot tall. I was wondering if I switched to 12/12 hour lights if they would but and if they would even get me high? First time growing so I have no fucking clue.

Yes you can switch your lights to 12/12 whenever you want to! Give them their appropriate time to flower (about 8 weeks) and yes you will get high!! Remember that your plants will double and maybe triple in flowering. Good luck!

Thanks man I fugured I could I ordered these from holland and I didn't want to fuck them up or wait a month for new ones to come in. I have 24 more if it don't work out.

Just wondering, what would happen if you gave your plants 12/12 light right from the start, or if you put them in after a week or two of veg? Would this work at all or would they just not grow?

They would begin to flower as soon as they got the chance. You could veg for 2 days, then flower. You won't get shit, but it's possible.

I put my seedling under 12/12 and it turned out fine..I vegged for like 11 days under 24/0, and when it was 3 inches tall I switched the lighting to 12/12. it stretched a lot!I screwed up and topped her after she stretched. I topped it whens he was 12" tall and the secondary started off as small nuggets on the branch, then they stretched and now are becoming colas at every node.

Watching Plant E's growth got me thinking:
If I start off all my seedlings on 24/0 for 1 1/2 weeks and then switch it over to 12/12 it would help me weed out all the males and I dont think it would hurt the yeild that much. All my of plants would get better lighting with the CFL's too.

My logic behind this:
Plant E was started about 11-12 days after the rest of the group. It was small and compact at first, then I let her stretch a lil bit and then topped her. If I woulda topped her sooner then the secondary probably would be shooting out of every where. that would be perfect for the next stealth operation.

So forget alternating nodes, hurting the yeild and all that jazz..the next grow is starting off in 24/0 for 10 days, then all of them are getting topped, and Im switching the lighting to 12/12 on day 11. Same thing with any clones I take in the future.

As soon as it got the chance, which could be a week or 2. On my first grow I fucked up and had them under 12/12 since the beginning and I got pistils in 2 weeks!! I started to read a lot more and put them into 16/8 and all was good! Just going by personal experience. Thank you for your input. Maybe conditions differ.

yea thats true, not to mention i did a lot of lst'ing & i topped her..so depending on conditions and techniques your results may vary..you werent wrong, just speaking from personal experience..
