What new restrictions? The only significant legislation I am aware of is HB 4271, the dispensary/provisioning center bill. I like to think that I am pretty well up to speed, but did something get past me? Given the extremes Jones went to with earlier legislation, and that he got far less than he wanted, he has had his ass handed to him. Maybe he likes that.

Eh, no focus really.. You know, just a rally....psh
It was a 30 year old kid. He paid 7,000 dollars to stand up on the capitol steps and yell about how pissed he is.. He ranted for 3 hours.. No serious direction other than he knew "its the place the laws were changed, and so here is where I am yelling". Now, the kid is homeless. He knew he was on his last legs and decided that it was still worth spending his last, doing what everyone around him was bitching about (no action takers). I commend him for stepping up. I dont care what his effect was; I applaud his intent and courage.
Look folks, I could care less how effective these guys are, or how poor you feel the representation of your interests are. What I saw was a sad disapointing display of a beat up community, and a very angry hurt young man. But what I didnt see, was YOU.
And in other news, the new season has begun and the sun is shining!

too bad 1000 people didnt stand with him-
they have made everyone afraid to protest for ourrights....and non-effective
i think the publc 'deballing' of mRc was enough for most scared growers to not support anything

I think a different approach is needed. Rallies aren't doing much...we still became a RTW state. Overturned the EM law only to have it reincarnate. Not trying to be negative but we'd be more successful buying legislators. Isn't that how things are done now in America?

Yes I am aware of the sad state of affairs the medical community faces as a whole wether the majority realizes it or not. Question, how many protesters showed up for the RTW rally and what change did they accomplish for their efforts? There might have been a blurb on the local news if 5000 showed up and put their fist in the air but do you honestly think that would change anything? Legalization is the only thing worth working towards period...I will donate my time & $$ to that end.

i would rather see patients groups that have teeth....
as in courtroom monitoring...
and not dispensary backed or pkgd
i wouldreally like to see patient unions form in each county to try and protect each other....
not traditional union type dues paying....
im talking proactive monitoring and protection for each other
not sitting in a library talking about how fucked up the law is and we should write MORE letters or emails.....pfffft!
the patients union is what got people jury trials in other places
if alot of these people that were even close to being compliant had the courtroom packed with supporters and concerned voters
