Grow time length (pictures)

i have 5 clones, grown to around 10 inches so far. i want to get them to 18-24 before i put it to 12/12.
how long does this roughly take? on an average.
i tried searching it, but nothing to specific out there. thanks!



and also. anyone know why today the color of some leaves faded to a yellowish when i took them outside.

imo those arent truly ten inches..they are yellowing because they need nutes and also they need to be repotted like now..straight to the final pot in some good soil and i would pull off the lowest growth node and leaves and plant it nice and deep because they are a bit stretchy so your 10 inch plants turn to 6..feed them weekly depending on what soil/system your using but if your using liquid nutes you should be feeding weekly from the point they first yellow any. now your 6 inch plants will regrow to ten in about 4-5 days if given adequate growing conditions then your nice bushy fat stalked ten inch plant, which i would have nicely lst'ed by now, will take around 14-18 days so a total of about 25 days until you have a ready to flower nice two foot plant! not long to go the longer you hold out the more each can produce

Ye bro re pot those and they should go crazy. My clone was not growing that fast untill i repotted it and now its taking off fast passing my other plants by far and it was way smaller then then untill i repotted it haha.

when im cutting the lowest growth node and leaves. What exactly do you mean, or what exactly would i be doing? Ive heard to cut the top nodes off before or something? Im not sure exactly what to do in that situation.

What he is saying is you should clear the leaves/stems from the bottom 4-5" of those plants and when you repot, all of that stem should be under soil. Then put them back under the light but very close to the lights so you do not get to stretchy. With the new bigger pots and the closer lights you should get a nice bushy plant that will grow pretty rapidly if given the proper feeding schedule and lights.

how often should i be doing that with the leaves? Just the one time?

If you have good lighting and they are nice and close you should never have to do it, since your plants are stretched a bit you should do it now and then adjust your lights so you do not need to do it again.

On the repotting, some say to do it in steps where you start small and then progressively get larger, by 2 weeks before you switch to flower you should be in your final pot. this keeps the plants focused on growing the top of the plants and not just the roots. I am not experienced enough to know this as a fact, but it certainly seems plausible. On my current grow I wish I had gone up at least one more pot size as I can tell my roots are bursting at the seems of the 3G pot (roots coming out of the bottom of the pot and I have a hard time checking soil moisture at the top since the root ball is right there).

Next grow I am going with a single 7+ gallon fabric pot.(or as big as I can reasonably fit in my fairly small grow box)

i only repot once to a 5 gallon but their is some validity to doing it in stages, i see it as more of a hassle than helpful so for me straight to a final pot from the seedling cup..i have thought about using a 3 gallon air pot in between and just burying it in my final pot but just a thought..

Made me cringe when I was repotting and I could feel the little roots that had partially grown into the fabric pot being ripped away. Thats part of the reason I didnt go to a new pot, that said I now regret not going up to at least a 5G pot a couple weeks before switching to flower.

ya i like to go to a 5 whether i think i will need it or not..same principal as a condom lol..i hear ya on the cloth pot depending how grown into it the roots were i may have left it but if they are just barely grabbing on its ok may slightly damage the rhizoids (little hairs on the roots) but nothing it cant handle just like you get cut or bruised and are fine the next day may have done more good than harm in the long run!
