Hello.
I am a recreational grower with visions of expansion. I started Nov. of 2011 with a 250w Halide and 10 seeds of Jack Herer. This given to me by a guy who grows outside. Once I got to the point I was ready to flower, he gave me a 400w HPS with bulbs and a wing.

So this is my first flower. I believe I ended up with 3oz. I actually got quite lucky with this plant. The fact I didn't get spider mites is beyond me. See, I was new. I figured I would build a small room in the back of my garage. Everything would be fine, well it was with this harvest!!!
So my next batch of plants were Mother plants I bought off some dude on craigslist. $50 for a permafrost and Skunk. Great breed of plants. I had just bought a GrowLab80(30"x30"x71"), a small tent. I put these 2 plants in ther without adequate air circulation and they developed PM. What a Newb I was, I thought the PM was trichs. Someone on this site told me, "No dude, that's PM!" Ahh shit!

This is last year in April.
So for the next 8 months I hunkered down and started reading, not asking questions on forum's. I read Jorge's Books, I read Greg Green's Books. I read about plants and I experimented.
What did I learn? First thing u purchase or make is a Sterile concealed room. I don't think it needs to be airtight, but the outside world cannot have a sliver of daylight. You need to seal that room. Then after you seal it, make sure u have good ventilation. I still have that GL80 and I vegg in it with a 1000w Halide, it is also my drying room and clone room. I have a 4"inline fan that keeps a 6" AC XL Hood cool.
This my current grow 3+weeks ago. I have current pics, but we will get to that.
So like I said, after about a year of toiling around, I got serious and bought this tent online for $209.08 delivered to my door. Best fucking purchase of my life. Shall we have a gander.

After buying this tent I had my brother in law, a licensed electrician with 30 years of experience, come in and add 3 new breakers and 12 new outlets capable of running 9,200w. I have 3@1000w switchables, 600w HPS, 400w HPS, 250w Halide. In this tent I run 2@1000w.
This prevents a lot of problems in a house that was built in 1963.
So here is what my current setup looks like!!!
The outside.

A plethora of nutes and fun gadgets. I really love my Footcandle meter and wireless thermometer and RH monitor.
Proof in the pudding, 2 years or less and about $5,000 can get you pointed in the right direction. Pictures of my last grow and harvest. I started with 5 plants and ended with 26ozs. I vegged for over 2 months. The clones went into 16oz cups in mid Dec 2012. I flipped em March 5th 2013, I harvested one April 25th, one on May 3rd, one on May 4th, one on May 5th, and the last one May 6th.
The first Harvest.
Now I never claimed to know it all, but I did it on my own. Took time and patience. I alos know I didn't cover everything. But I started with the basics, get a solid room, then bomb the fuck out of it, then do it 3 days later, and then another 3 days later. Then bomb that room periodically. Good luck, and I will be back. I will answer questions and read other suggestions. Just remember, I showed u mine, I got the proof. At the beginning I knew nothing, now I know something.
