They look sunburned. Did you take them from indoors to full sun all at once? Betcha did.

like AimAim said they look sunburned. I would put them under a tree so it doesn't get too much sun. How many plants do you have?

The illuminance of direct sunlight is approximately 100,000 lux, but normal daylight, which is filtered through a cloudy sky, is between 5,000 and 10,000 lux, while moonlight can be as little as 0.25 lux. Compare that what you had them under, it is quite a jump.

I had them inside then took then right outside to direct sunlight. What should i do to ease them into the outdoors enviroment.

I don't know what's worse ,that you post a picture of a dead leaf with no backround info other than you put it outside, and want an answer, OR that people are actually giving you an answer. It's like a noob equilibrium.

Yes i took them from inside straight to outside. What should i do to make it easier on the plants
Read up some on "hardening off"

http://gardening.wsu.edu/library/vege003/vege003.htm

Basically you ease them into their new environment over a few days. I think it''s the UV light that burns them, kind of like a person sitting in the sun all day the first warm day of spring, they're gonna get sunburned. I've never burned MJ plants but have burned plenty of houseplants and garden plants till I figured it out. Your plant is exactly what it looks like in my experience.

Ok Madprofessor, you are the expert here. I on the other hand have seen sunscald numerous times, on a lot of different plants.

Not a "noob" been growing since 1979. Pretty obvious symptoms if you've been around the block a time or two, but best of luck on your endeavors. Otherwise just continue to criticize those of us with actual experience.

Let's recap, OP put up a pic, I said looks sun scalded, you said it was the blind leading the blind, as far as newbie goes. But he did exactly what I thought had happened, set them out from indoors to full sun.

Just keep reading and regurgitating what you have read, but never experienced. Sun scald is a pretty easy one to figure out.
