I have never grown any cheese strains, but that does sound very interesting.Just watering Q-Bert (little bushy) and Kolossus. Q-Bert stinks of cheese, even more so than any cheese I've actually had here in the UK. I just removed a small leaf that was touching a bud and the smell that came off was like a chemical cheetos/wotsits (delete depending on which side of the Atlantic you're on). Pictures to come later.
Looking good as usualThe Kolossus, day 35 of 12/12. A real sativa look to her leaves, those flowers are gonne be all indica though - and they're gonna be huge.
Sounds great, maybe a lil intense for me though.Wow! This stuff is strong and trippy. I took a couple of sample branches from Q-Bert (little bushy) on Tuesday, lower/rear ones which were a bit bunched up against the tent wall. 60% cloudy 40% clear trichs.
I've been on the local commercial indica dom most of this week having just ran out of the last batch of Sugar Punch, so my tolerance may have dropped slightly. Just hit my first tester of Q-Bert, about .3g in two bong hits - first hit of the day. Went into town straight after with my headphones on and the first 20 minutes or so was seriously strong psychedelia. You know the feeling where everything is intensified, mainly light and colour, but also smells and sounds - and the emotive connectivity all those senses offer was also enhanced. Very intense, and uplifting - the intensity may not be to the tastes of some, it is so strong that paranoid confusion may ensue.
Its an hour into the hit now, and the common description of sativa highs as being souring fits for this one completely. Sensations sort of like the head rush you get from standing up too quickly, constantly, but at a milder level. Constant and genuine buzz. I was already intending on pulling her at 9 weeks (this Wednesday), I am set on it now. I really want to capture that hardcore sativa effect she's got right now.
Sorry to hear that man, sounds like a horrible experience. I got 180 grams left and at least 6 or 7 weeks to go till next harvest, which won't include any SP. I will miss her.I've been on the local commercial indica dom most of this week having just ran out of the last batch of Sugar Punch
Nice cola!Ta guys! I seriously love my sativas, although I am an old skool trip head - the psychadelic world is where I like to spend as much time as is safe lol.
And sympathy appreciated Sativied - it was trying, but I am now close to being back in the world of sannies goodness. You have my condolences on being without SP - I hope you have something suitably special to take her place! You have a Kolossus don't you?
Was just sitting in the tent next to Big Bushy as Q-Bert drained and became transfixed by how big her buds have suddenly started getting. Real spears. One of them of 10 inches tall. Couldn't resist snapping a shot. Stinks like straight up berry fuel haze (the chemical smell is intense, strongest chem smell I've had yet) - I believe this is the cut that's getting the name as Sugar Punch, rather than the SSH pheno.

Yeah certainly seems to be the case, but, much of that evens out based on flowering time as well. Sativa dom hybrids need about 20% longer than Indica-dom hybrids (very roughly and differs per strain of course), and for that 20% more time you get 20% more yield (again, very roughly and differs per strain of course ).She's certainly a hybrid. I think that's where the best yielders are.
