Same lived in Phx and lived in NJ and this is almost a perfect mix altho still havent found anything to do in the state lolI feel like I get this place to be honest. The real people to fakes ratio is really high. I have lived on both
coasts and I am liking the middle the most so far.

If you're bored go check out a Red Wings game or a Tigers game. Joe Loius Arena is a great old barn, and Comerica Park is one of the nicest baseball parks in the country.

Yea Ive been east to west north to south and always find myself back in Michigan. I leave cause theres nothing to do come back for the people. When im out of state I will say hi to someone and they give me a look like i just murdered their first born, just saying hi dude...I feel like I get this place to be honest. Ive been in michigan now 10 years, in the ten years ive lived here i gained approx 70 pounds (yes a child i gained almost. winters seem to make it all the worse being as how i really dont do cold well. Christmas day and Tip up Town up north then it could be 77 with a slight breeze all year IMO.I have gained 15 lbs since getting here, 6 weeks ago. I think that constitutes as a thick hide.
Am I a Michigander yet? Or after my first full winter?
