Ok, so you're gonna need a ballast to run any HID lights! The 150 has the ballast build in and the ONLY reason I have 2 of them is bcuz I got a deal on them via Craigslist. I got both for $125.
If you go to buy them from the store on online, you're looking at about $160-$180 for 2 lights. And $70-90 for one light!
If I were you, I'll look into a 400w or a 400W HPS is you can buy the fans and eveything need to cool them.
If you can't get all that right now, you have to go with CFLs or T5. HPS is tooo hot to cool without fan.
You can't just stick a 150w HPS in your light socket tho. It's takes a bigger socket called a mogul socket and they need a ballast to power them up and keep them on!

I never saw what was posted... but believe me if the feds want to get you based on your posts, it does not matter. They will get you. When's the last time you heard of that actually happening though??? Other than that dude who was dumb enough to videotape his mailing address on his youtube vid and his reflection in the mylar
the biggest one on this site I know of is that guy fdd, but it turns out from what I understand his bust was from someone turning on him and had nothing to do with RIU
Unless you're using someone elses internet connection to be online, you're not completely safe in terms of that.
I'm probably not going to do a grow thread next time around just for sake of not being too visible, but I don't really think that's going to make a big difference. The feds are FAR more likely to get you based on your email, texts and phone calls than off of posts on rollitup -- first of all no offense to rollitup, but it's not even the top weed site. When i hear people at grasscity and marijuana.com or other places start getting busted, then maybe I'll worry. But like I said, people mostly do not get busted by online posts. They get busted by doing really stupid things for their grow to get discovered, get pulled over holding, or someone they sell to gets busted and turns on'em. That's how you get busted. The other stuff can definitely happen, but you can also get hit by a bus or struck by lightning. If the feds are hunting on rollitup, they're probably looking for bigger growers than me or sincerely... at least at this point
People turning on me is what worries me -- it's already almost happened once to me. You never know if they get busted who is going to give you up, and you can't control other people. And potheads sometimes do stupid stuff to get them busted -- like the guy who almost gave me up cuz he got busted trying to grow covertly at someone's business. UGH. Come on people.

Just wanna thanks everyone for all the things you've help me learn and all the goals you've helped me accomplish.
I'm less than a year removed from doing all the things I want to, so I'm about to dial it back a notch and take some time off..
With all the skill and knowledge that I've gained over the past year, I know that I'm set for a life time, so what I'm gonna do is wait a little bit and apply everything at the right time..
Feeling like the right time ain't necessarily now for me, so I've scrapped things and decided to work on my soil mix and my worm farming.
And I'm not really worried about anything going on as far as my door coming down, just kind of a wake up call I guess.
But I'll be around for sure. Just about to cool out for right now on the strength of my intuition
and love
