What`s up guys (and gals), wanted to post up a little poll to gauge interest in some new genetics myself and some others are putting together. My intent is to stabilize some of the cuts I have going and to get as many into seed form and into growers hands as possible...
This has been the foundation for the little seed bank initiative we`re undertaking now to try to get the pure, high-quality genetics to everyone for cheap (not sure about you guys, but continuing to restock beans at $100+/10 is getting tiresome for me). This has led to some time in production for a few strains, and more time researching good fits for furthers. As of end of 2014, I hope to have the following strains out for you guys to enjoy if you so choose:
1) BlackJack OG18
- ( Black Domina (Domina pheno) x Jack Herer) x OG18 BX
- Goal of this smoke is to carry the black-green leaves and height from the BD cut, with the spacing, density, and sledgehammer meds of the Jack and OG18. OG18 mother is extremely resilient to pests, heat, training, etc. Solid 8-week finisher
2) Blackberry Kush
- ( Strawberry Cough (pink pheno) x Black Domina (hash plant pheno) ) x OG18 BX2
- The sensual Kush that will be great for hashes and any sort of insomnia (from which I suffer). Willgive the overpowering taste of the pink SC pheno with the vigour and density of the Afghan decendants she`s crossed with. Aiming for a 8-9 Flower time
3) Strawberry Snow
- Strawberry Cough (pink pheno) x Hawaiian Snow (BX to the SC)
- 2 Of my favourite Savitas, hoping to curb the immense flower time on the HS back to around 9-10 weeks and maintain it`s structure with a bit of a frosty berry aroma. All-day smoke with relaxing and exciting properties. Aiming for 9-10 weeks (more realistically 11)
4) KC`s Special Kush
- Burmese Kush x Black Domina (both potentially either Domina or HP pheno) x OG18
- Furthest cross along in process now, encompasses my Cuts of Burmese and OG18 with 2 potential BD phenos in the mix. Each are distinguishable by broad fans on the HP and the dark black-green, tall Domina pheno, but carry the OG bud formation and the Burmese Kush`s gooey trich formations. Pure Kush delight, takes well to topping, LST, mainlining, you name it, great vigour. Should be able to get this mid-high yielder to finish in 7-9 weeks depending on pheno
5) LA Sunset Kush
- ( Burmese Kush x LA Affie x Blue Dream ) x Burmese Kush
- ... and our project strain. This strain is meant for exactly how it`s title paints it, your relaxing end of day smoke that perks your senses and gives you boost, with a touch of euphoria. Taste and color are main components of this cross, so it`ll take some time likely. Should be an 8-9 week flower assuming the BD doesn`t dominate your cut
... As you can tell, the strains are a heavy reliance on Kush and Afghan genetics as the OG18 mother has been my staple for years and I describe my newest pheno as the Coffee pheno as it smells of earthy coffee and cocoa. The Burmese cut is also a cut that has been `worked` for hash-making, oils, etc.
Looking for input aswe have all tents in production currently, want to find out where the interest is so we can dedicate attention where need be. Appreciate the time and input guys, always open for suggestions, these are the strains that are in process, would love to work some more with any tips/suggestions. Will try to get some shots up of the beans as they become available through our stages . Keep it green all,
KC
