That is really clear! How much did you spend on that?
I spent $80 on the Microscope/Stand combo but it was worth it to get a scope that can take 1600x1200 shots.That is really clear! How much did you spend on that?
I had that style of Microscope before but always had problems keeping it steady myself.this is what i use, comes with a cheap stand that works

Completely true. I've got a few straight up optical ones but I wanted something that I could take digital images with. That and I'm getting old and my eyes aren't what they used to be.I use a $12.00 microscope from Radio Shack which I think is a 60x. Any way works just fine.
I do the exact same thing. Problem I had with the other style was that the pressure of focusing would slightly bend the stand. Then when I took my finger off of the microscope, the image would be out of focus. With the model I got, I can use the focus on the microscope itself as a "rough focus" and then use the height adjustment on the stand for fine control.i gave up trying to hold it on the plant, i just take a flower clipping and go to my desk with it
