root mould problem

Has anyone come accross a blue mould on their roots?i use a nft system and have found a blue mould growing on my roots,it has killed 7 plants already.they are 5 weeks into flower and have had no problems untill now

Is this hydro or soil. Do you have a pic?
Does it smell bad?

hydro,no and no. it isnt root rot the roots are white and healthy but this blue green mould has started to grow on the top of the root mat.i thought it might be pythium?

its mold not mould.you should be able to get something at the hydro store.

Are you sure it isn't algae? What is your medium and is it covered from the light. If it is algae it didn't kill any plants though. If you could post a couple of pics we could help more.
