LOOK! Genetic defect on Fan Leaf creating sprout, has anyone else seen this before!?

I was tending to my babies today when I noticed the most trippy thing I've seen, anyone else seen this before?

Towards the stem, it looks like almost a sprout of some kind, but with a leaf like you can see in the pictures. I'm gonna post more pictures later, but tell me what the hell that is! And, if anyone can tell me why my leaves are twisted, that would be awesome. I used to run AN pH Perfect, but I'm switching to GH and getting a pH meter, AN is just too finicky I think.

Hi Mate,

That's pretty kl. I had 1 big little callayx (spelling?) on some leaves before in same place.
Looks like may be a bit low on humidity or hot in there? Leaves look a bit dry. Just an observation :)

I run PH Perfect and I find it good. I don't understand how can be more finicky then mixing then having to PH and have an expensive callibrated pen etc to do it all right. But whatever makes it easier for you go for (Y)

Yeah I found pH Perfect to work really well back when I first started using it at one location, but then I changed locations (and thus tap water) and so its not very good growth at all currently. I used hose water at the same location I started at, and it read 130 ppm, versus the usual bath tub 200 ppm stuff, which worked just fine. I think its finicky because you have to have your water right, and I've heard you're supposed to use RO water, but it worked fine with mine for a while. I just think I'd rather KNOW that my pH is "perfect" than to assume it is perfect with the pH Perfect. Plus these nutes have become pretty expensive for me, so I'm switching to organics after this grow anyways lol.

Fair play my friend :) I use tap water and all seems ok. Like you say is a bit of an unknown as I am not checking it but seems to work. I have a if it's not broken don't fix it kind of attitude, but you started having problems so I wish you all best my friend. I used to run organic nutes in organic soil, was great :)

What are the temps? How often do you water, and what's the PH? How much do you feed (PH), and what is the schedule? What are you using for lights, and how close are they? It looks like you have a toxicity which would call for a flushing, but answer those questions and we'll figure it out :bigjoint:
