Where The HELL is the bud???

Alright, so this is gonna sound like a noobie question and Im sure the answer is not as elusive as Im making it. Here goes...

Im 35 days into 12/12 vegged for just a bit over 4 weeks. Strain is Masterkush x Pre-98. Under 1k hortilux bulb. Temp at canopy is 81 with lights on, roughly 10 degree drop at lights out. The root structure is healthy, I provided pics of the trunks. Flood buckets pH 5.9 ~1200ppm. Plants were topped once two weeks into veg and scrogged. Mix mash of Nutes.

Plants look VERY healthy to me all in all. Except there is NO bud production. I have good early trich production (90&clear 10% cloudy) but pistils show very early maturation....too early IMO. With 200w/sq ft I should be looking at alot more mass than Im seeing. Could be strain dependent, and I havent grown this out before but Im not seeing any swell and even with what Im seeing a normal swell isnt going to be tipping any scales. I know I wont know till the end...but is patience all I need??It certainly doesnt look like she wants to go long and has more potential or something? Thanks for any help.~S0uP

They are flowering fine, just looks to me like you don't have mega producing pheno's there.
Looks like you're in for smaller buds which are already covered in trichomes so it should be some bomb potent smoke.

Does look a little heavy on the N feed.

I see tons of bud on that thing for 35 days in. It packs on bud faster and faster until it peaks, then it packs on bud slower and slower. Be patient. It's not even close to peaking yet.

The discolored pistols have nothing to do with maturing. it must be some other problem, because when flowers are mature, it's more obvious to spot than just discolored pistols. They also recede and the calyxes really swell up.

btw, 200W/sqft is CRAZY overkill, especially for plants that short and well trained. In the future, if you spread that so it's 50W/sqft, you'd yield SO much more. like.. so so so much more, if you just canopy plan the same you're doing now, but over 4 times the area with more plants.

Basically quadruple your exact setup with that light and you'll yield SO much more.

I was thinking I should lower my N content on my mix next res change thanks for confirming, pictures are misleading though church... that is very small production for what I am accustomed to at this stage. I think the pistol development might be attributed to light intensity being through the fuckin roof but I dont know?

They look fine to me, maybe a little light but its probably just genetics. Your in the limbo zone when we all freak out. After five weeks you should start to see what it can do. Till then hold tight, they look like theyll do just fine

Funny you should say that... this was simply an experiment to see what the 200w/Sq ft could do as Ive never seen someone try it... I have a 5x5 that its normally in,over a couple 2x4 flood tables for perp but I just set up in the new apartment and didnt have anything but the smaller tent to start...

Ive seen the slowest starter finnish the best too. Give her some time. Raise the light up if your worried but if you havent run this strain id wait it out myself.

Well no real choice there, but thanks man! Just wanted to confirm that there wasnt something I missed that someone else could see ya know?? Definitely not gonna get impatient and chop before the trichs say so...if anything I want her to take her time. Even if I do yield very low, quality is looking to be tits so I wont be disappointed in any way

Believe me if I look in 2 weeks and the buds are only twice the size they are now Im gonna be pissed...
