The Irish Growers Thread!

evening fellas, iam, still looks great there, and a pound that would be some going fair play to you dude, first one to hit that mark i think..
 
Yeah... Thats who i use... love the free postage... makes a huge difference... had to buy a 250 ml bottle of gnatt off from one of the dublin shops and the charged 8 euro for delivery... was going to buy something else until i saw they were charging the 8 euro delivery a second time... hardly...
 
Yeah i second thebigshop i get stuff from there and its free delivery, if you are in a mad rush i would phone them after you place the order just to make sure the guys in there are on the order cause they can go a day or two without looking at online orders so best to get them on the ball, guy in there called dermy and hes very sound and very helpfull

dont see much change on my roots yet but after a night with the lights on i hope things will pick up

I think it's free for orders over £30 but that's only small money.
I was after ph calibration and tried a few other Irish sites,one of them was 14e delivery upto 10kg or something,the ph 7.01 was gonna cost 18.50 in total if I bought it.

ah i just like them as there within driveing distance, and i can buy cash and in person, and hey just cause it has a price sticker on it don`t mean you can`t haggle a bit, there sound, i bought my light there and some nutes, got the guy to toss in pots soil and some flower nutes, about 20quids worth of stuff....

It makes all the difference when you can go in and haggle a bit and then when they get to know the face they will look after you.

Best thing to do is order tonight or tomorrow morning then ring them right away tomorrow morning and ask if they got the order you made and could they get it sent out right away today, he will look at your order and if anything is out of stock he will be able to tell you there and then and let you know its being posted that day, if somethings outta stock he will advice something else or similar and you wont have to wait for stock, dont wait for emails from them cause they dont send any telling you your order is sent, even orders from a year ago still say processing lol
 
bought my nutes in a garden centre near galway, was pleasently surprized to be able to buy them there. i dont feel comfortable going into grow shop

In this day in age all garden centers should have nutes and everything for indoor/outdoor but i have yet to see anything growing related up my way in garden centers

handy that, i can get my veg nutes any where here, but bloom nutes are harder to find, unless you get the fruit bloom ones and there not as edgey as the grow shop ones...

that said i don`t really like going myself, but needs must as they say..
 
the other thing about big is that they had alot more random stuff in the shop that wasn't online..... and like you said they are so sound... if you need something they get it in pretty quick too... its never been more than 2 day delivery, for me anyway...

Same here,without the internet I'd be f^&*ed altogether.
Garden centres around here are dear though,I paid 8 quid per 10L bag of perlite
