Case in point why this is such an under reported crime.

Sexual assault is a very serious crime to accuse somebody of. Unfortunately the laws aren't based on personal feelings or your interpretation at that moment in time. The legitimacy of the crime that took place is of the utmost importance. We are innocent until proven guilty in society these days. But hey, this is an internet forum, not a court of law. Those are some startling numbers. They don't measure the lives ruined of the innocent falsely accused. Hard to get past an accusation like that even when you've been exonerated.

The original question had nothing to do with legitimacy:

Specifically regarding sexual situations, for example, have you ever been in a situation where you felt like you either couldn't say no directly, or if you did, it wouldn't make a difference? Have you ever felt scared in a situation with someone you previously trusted?


I've been reading a bit about statistics of sexual assault and was curious about any real life, first hand accounts.


Interestingly enough, female sexual assault victims make up somewhere around 70% of cases in the US, but males are still the majority because of the sexual assaults that take place in prison.

Legitimacy was posed to me personally and I answered truthfully.

You know that's one huge reason I didn't want to post in this thread. This is classic trollery, asking the disingenuous offensive question with sincerity then when people answer pit the sides against each other using known conflagration points in said topic. We call a lot of the young bucks around here trolls. But this is the first actual troll I've seen on here.

I'd give his troll game a B- or C+. Where this troll repetitively fails is you have to keep your gambit consistent. If your schtick is sincere and naive you can't then whack someone with a polo mallet. But sadly I'm sure his style will improve since he seems to have an unlimited playing field ::shrug::.
