Crazy plant with 2 TOPS naturally, no FIM or topping. Weird genetics?!!

  • So i have been growing a test plant before my first grow. stared it from a bagseed about 3 weeks ago, has been transplanted into 3 gallon pot for 7 full days now.
    Im no expert, but i knew the plant was growing weird. I noticed today it has 2 NATURAL tops, it grew a stem, then split itself into 2 tops.
    Not sure if its normal or what, ive never seen it in all the vids or pics ive seen. Let me know what u guys think.
    Could be some useful genetics here maybe. Heres some pics...​

Only time ive seen that is in a clone with two leaders. Never from seed. Its almost hard to comprehend. It had to have been damged or fimed.

Definitely wasnt fimd or topped. I grew it from a bunch of seeds i had from 2 years ago from bag seed. They were sitting in a vial contaminated with cannabis oil residue. This is the only seed out of 20 that germinated. As far as damage goes, there is no physical damage to the plant at all, i overwatered it a couple days ago, and for the first week of it sprouting it was under the sun and a 60 watt incandescent and it stretched, there is about 2 inches of stem buried under added dirt. I am going to post pics from a week ago till now and i will post them tomorrow. its under 6-26 watt cfl in 2700 and 6500k.

No, its been growing weird since the start, im keeping it going to see what happens, im going to fim the 2 tops in a couple days.

I will keep this thread going, gonna upload pics tomorrow and update probably daily. I also just started germinating 5 fem seeds, liberty haze, domina haze, cheesy dick, big bang, and northern lights. I will start a thread for those as soon as they are sprouted and in dirt. It will be an all CFL grow. My first one bsides this experiment plant lol.
Gonna smoke some hashplant and head to bed.............it 330 am here

Just curious, what's your setup? Because that plant does not look healthy. What kind of soil, nutes, etc..?

I have a generally weird growing plant also, came across yours and figured I would share. This seedling cracked open with three leafs sprouting, not your usual two.
This is the very top of the plant. It grew one set of the strangest 5 finger leaf I've ever seen. and didn't split till about a inch down the side.





Here's how it looks now.



This is how the normally sprouting and growing one is, notice the difference?

My setup rite now is
6x26 watt 6500 and 2700k cfl in a reflector
1 48inch flourescent with 5000k
small fan
soil is a mix of (peat moss, humus, compost)60%, potting soil 10%, perlite 30%.
No nutes added yet, but the potting soil is MG so it has a bit of nutes but there is little of the soil
I has overwatered the plant a few days ago and it was all droopy, just starting to perk up now. I am going to top one side and fim the other tonite. veg it for another 7-10 days and flower it and see what happens. I will be adding more light soon.

i think its a mutant or something, the seeds (out of 20, 1 germinated)were in a vial that had cannabis resin made with ISO in it and there was still residue from the oil. they sat in that vial in a drawer for a year at least. it grew on a window ledge for a week and a half or so from sprout till i put it uinder light. it was/is really densely packed with veg for such a teeny plant.

Since we are going on about weird plants I should throw mine in with three leaf and five leaf variations.... I guess my plant is a little misfit like its owner!

So here are some more pics of the mutant plant. they are from day 2 of transplant from cup to 3 gallon bucket until now, which is day 8. With the 2 natural tops, i decided to top one of them and fim the other just for fun. i fimd the one side no problem. when i went to top the other side, i didnt even have to cut it, it just sorta popped off. At the topped site there is a black tar like substance, like oil or resin. Its in the pics. I hope the plant keeps growing i would like to see what it turns into...

For me its not my type of bud and of lower quality than what i am used to :wall: ...just one of the many reasons i am starting my own grow :-o

Just trasplanted mine too. Stems finally turning harder etc. Weird thing is it has a purplish tint to it. Of course my temps dropped to about 69. And something was munching on it...
