I am guessing yours is a little different from the units I could see on their website. I don't need a large unit. Something to cover a couple of 2 1/2 foot aero rails. 4 plants max. They have a unit they say will cover 2 x 3 feet and is rated at 150 watts. I am going to have to do some comparing of this one to the Solar Storm 200 and see which one would be the best for me. Both seem to have full spectrum and both are very close to the same wattage. Price is very similar between the two as well.I got an A300 and that panel has given me more value than any panel I've owned. Once I added it to my setup, smell, footprint and yields increased significantly. Well built, though the A series is heavy, they use custom drivers and the diodes they use are certainly a step up from the average panel, though no CREE diodes. I've taken a few panels apart and the build quality of my VIPAR is leaps ahead of my other panels. Even the company has been really cool, telling me removing the glass would not void my warranty, which makes them all right in my book. You'll pay a little more on your ebill in the long run than some other medium to hi-end panels, but VIPAR's production and less expensive price tag make that OK in my book. They are definitely one of the best values in the LED panel market, though living outside UK/Europe you may have to deal with some transaction fees to land one. Still, anyone buying 240W Blackstars has got to be crazy not to look into grabbing one of these, especially with their custom warranty packaging.
Get rid of? Hells no, my dino panel will always be in my flowering room. It's my PAR daddy . Actually it's time to replace my BS240s and that LED Star 5x60. 2 Hans panels are on the short list that's for sure. It's the LED Star that's gonna be a bitch to replace. All that 660 and FR, plus the NW make it a stretch monster but lord do plants love to drink around it. Maybe it's time to rebuild the 5x60 into smaller panels that go on for a few hours a day? Hmmm. And don't forget that the A300 contains NO white leds in that old panel, which is rare these dayslol......hey fran did you see what this advanced dutch grower did with some hans panels.??.......holy shit
http://www.ledgrow.eu/Reviews.html first review, the bitches look like they flowered under 600w+ hps, all with 260w actual watts!!......hmm looks like R/B/DR still packs a punch and can grow big buds. So don't get rid of your dinosaur yet
Yeah that's the second review from belgium who got 165g off of two panels!! And amnesia is a very long bloomer, wouldn't bother indoors. The newest review from the dutch grower is extremely impressive for 260w total IMO. My guess on strain is either S.A.G.E (dutch love this bitch) or a Jack cross.......maybe someone else has a better guess15 weeks of flower, but holy shit.. Go hans
For a 4-4.5x2 flower area and using only 130w, its unbeatable for the price........I just found the Hans website and took a look at his panels. What is the overall opinion of them? You can 2 for 500 shipped to US.
That is almost exactly the size I will be running. Just enough for personal stash. Good to hear someone has experience with them. LED is pretty hard to trust IMO and I want to make a good decision before dropping the money. How long did it take your panels to be delivered after payment? How well were they packaged to prevent damage? Who delivered them? Thanks for the help. For a 4-4.5x2 flower area and using only 130w, its unbeatable for the price........
After fucking Paypal confirmation(8 business days)! about two weeks to the US east coast . Came by USPS and had somewhat discreet packaging, but it says rotterdamn/NL all over it. Now depending on who you speak with he is "improving" the panel soon, he told some growers four months and told me two months(july-august) and NO details. happy shopping. That is almost exactly the size I will be running. Wow, that is 163 kw of 12/12 usage for almost 6 ounces. Incredible. That is how much power a 1000 watt lamp would use in 13.5 days. Freaking incredible. That guy has his game down tight.Yeah that's the second review from belgium who got 165g off of two panels!! And amnesia is a very long bloomer, wouldn't bother indoors.
