Munchies. Weed + Appetite. Change in appetite.
So I have been trying different ways to avoid eating when I get the munchies. I usually smoke at night after I workout and have met my calorie requirements for the day. I wanted to start this thread to collect ideas on what my fellows MJ smokers do to avoid overeating. I know it ultimately comes down to willpower and habits but would like to hear other ideas to curb the munchies.
Things I try to avoid bingeing:
1. Drinking lots of water- I usually do anyways so doesn't help.
2. Keeping gum around- I end up finishing entire packs which is expensive in the long run.
3. Keeping healthy meals cooked and ready- this works but is time consuming and still not good for people who smoke at night.
4. Ridding the house of all junk food- works until I end up going to the 24/7 store or dunkin donuts.
I love getting high but I hate the munchies! I have been trying to cut body fat for a while but my night time eating is counter-productive to all the effort I put into exercising. I just can't seem to stick to my diet once I am high. I know it is poor will-power on my part but it is like I get hunger pains after I smoke or something. The urge to eat gets very strong. The odd part is when I am not high during the day I barely think about food nor do I have a appetite.
After I smoke its like the only thing on my mind. So I was wondering how people who smoke daily stay fit? I know it depends on your metabolism and everyone is different etc etc...but yeah what do you guys do?
