Not much really. You need a microscope with a digital camera cheapeest ive seen is about 80 for one that works. Anything underthat wont give you good pictures and come out blurry. Why do you need pics. Just buy a 100x mini microscope for like 8 bucks.

Or use a 40x magnifying glass and a digital camera. Wont give great close up of trichs but does a good job.

do you have a digital camera? If so, check and see if it had a little flower icon on it as a setting. This is macro mode. It will allow you to focus your camera within a half to a quarter inch from the lense. At this point, it's really up to how good your camera and how steady your hand is, but you could focus on a 10 to 30x lense if the apateur of the magnifier is equal to or greater then the apateur of your camera lense.

I shoot quick macro through a $10 10x loupe that was given to me. The 10x of that multiplied by the optical zoom on my camera gets a decent 50x closeup. When I want good macro up to 230x, I use a Dino-Lite USB microscope. Don't run out and buy one unless it's dirt cheap, though. Mine goes for $500 and it's not worth even half of that IMO(fit/finish/feel in kinda cheap). It takes a decent picture, though.

I bought an attachment for my I-phone that was about 80x. Works great for taking pictures, it cost about 1.96 + p&p online

Wow, awesome results!

I bought a 40x loupe on ebay for £2.50. I'm able to hold this in front of the lens on my Galaxy S3 and take pretty decent pictures under the right lighting.

Here's a photo I took today of a snail eating a beetle (sorry I don't have any trichs yet!)
