lollipoping first grow. no issues just want input

First off, this is my first grow. 5 plants under a 400w mh light. Using floragrow and some homemade nitrogen solution every other feeding.

Iv been reading a ton and watching a million youtube vids over the last couple weeks. Im trying to maximize my yield and have found supercropping and toping to be the most effective.

Of the 5 plants Iv only been trying this on one and would just like some input on how it looks.

basically what people are all going to say is dont ever "lollipop" or defoliate. its much better to low stress train(slowly tie down) the plant sideways to make the bottom branches level out the canopy. also there is supercropping which causes more stress than lst, its when you carefully pinch the top 1/3 or so of the plant and tie it so it cant regrow straight again. this forces "auxins" or whatever to focus on lower branches and results in not wasting energy and you get less "popcorn"

Maybe I misunderstood the term lollipop then. Iv cropped this one 3 times and topped it in about 3 places. I was just looking for input on how it looks being my first grow and having done the extras. My other 4 are standing straight, didnt wanna chance hurting all of them.

ok so you've topped it. basically the best thing you can do is fill up your footprint of your light with an even canopy. if this means tying down then so be it; some people position lights all around the plant instead of bending it. be sure if tying down do not tie tight around the stalk it needs space to grow

I personally veg for 4wks then remove the bottom 2/3 of branches and leaves.
So only the top 1/3 of growth is left untouched.
Veg for 1 more week to let it recover then its off to flower.
I also aggressively top all my plants and do a bit of LST.

Iv heard of doing away with the smaller bottom stuff too. Does it equal out to about the same amount of bud and just eliminate the work of the bottom branches?
