dilemma

well... I ordered some nutes over the weekend on ebay. still waiting on them to arrive because the dipshit i bought from says "he moved" and wasnt able to ship them out till wednesday. I was expecting theyd be here by today or friday but thats out of the question the package is still on the other side of the U.S.

so anyways that poses a problem. as i was holding off feeding any nutes until they got here. my plants dont look nute deprived or have any issues, buuuut I havent fed them for almost 2 weeks (since i now wont be able to feed them this week thats week 2). I have miracle grow all purpose which is shitty, but my question is...

do you think i should just continue my schedule of molasses, water, water, molasses until the nutes arrive?? or should i feed them a small amount of fertilizer just in case?

also, they are two weeks into flowering!

the dude seems to think they will get to my house by saturday since he shipped priority mail but its my understanding that that is just as fucking slow as regular mail... so i doubt they will be here before monday or tuesday! motherfucker!

yeah. I was hoping for some answers from the experienced growers (no offense ) , but Im tempted to just feed the molasses. I just dont want to run into any nute problems before it gets here so Im not sure if i should feed SOMETHING in the mean time! urgh!

im a hydro grower so my opinions about soil should be taken as just suggestions. but i would still say a little nute can go a long way!

yeah i was thinking about diluting it to like 1/4 instead of 1/2 of what the bottle says that way its such a tiny amount but hopefully still enough to hold them over until the nutes actually arrive. the guy actually did send them 2-3 day shipping but since they were shipped yesterday that doesnt count as a day. saturday would be day 3 if Im LUCKY they will be here. Im gunna keep checking the tracker!

I think personally if you plants are healthy there is no reason to add nutes, just hold off and wait till your nutes get in. If its only going to be another week i wouldn't sweat it. If a week turn into 2 and 3 then you might want to think about feeding them some. But if you are still getting nice green growth and no deficiencies (ie: color changing on leaves or twisting ect..) I wouldn't sweat it....

ive fed them nutes twice during veg phase after 3 weeks of vegging! but none since theyve flowered. I didnt feed molasses since they were seeds since you dont even feed molasses until flowering. anyways, I think Ill just give em a good water and pray to some higher power that they arrive saturday like this dude claims they will!

yeah well i cant really bitch. I mean I ordered sunday, but i never usually have problems. usually my items are shipped within the next 2 days after the weekend. he didnt even ship out till wednesday. and monday i had already sent him an email asking when he ships out and he said "he'd have a tracking number for me that night. so i figured that meant on MONDAY he would ship my items!!" but then....i never recieved any tracking info so i msged him tuesday night and said did you ever get the tracking number. would really like the info. and then nothing till this morning when he replied "blablabla some bullshit about just moving and how he shipped it yesterday and they should be here saturday cause he upgraded the shipping to 2-3 day!" so one can only hope! :-\ i know my plants are gunna be hungry and I hate to deprive them of what they want!

Switching nutes can be a bad thing,i had it slow my plants progress down to a slow crawl when they were just cruising at light speed,i use peters ferts & i ran out so i used some other stuff that had all right ingredients & i'll never do it again,slowed bud formation down to a crawl.

I love molasses & use the hell out of it,if it were my grow i'd simply wait it out & rely on the molasses to carry them thru,molasses has a very high potassium content so they wont be lacking that nutrient,it also has a bunch of micro nutes that your plants need so they wont starve durring the wait.

Perhaps you could take a trip to Wally World and get a bottle of liquid Fish Emulsion. It's organic, safe for edible plants and high in nitrogen.... it's smelly but it certainly will feed your plants and hold them over until your nutes arrive. I found a bottle of it at Wal Mart in the garden section and it was only about $5. I feed it to the plants in my vegetable garden.

Points of fact.

1 What paypal describes to buyers who use their service as an "instant payment" take's 3 days to process if the seller has payments deposited directly to his bank account,the same payment that paypal loves to refer to as the instant payment can take 2 full weeks to reach the seller if the seller does not have paypal linked directly to his account & receives a check in the mail.

2 Money orders are held by banks for up to 2 weeks before they are 100% clear,lenght of the hold is dependant on each bank not the seller.

3 Sellers have been scammed so many times by charge back scams threough the beloved paypal system that they now refuse to ship anything until all payments have cleared their bank & the cash is in their pocket,im one of those sellers.

I dont wanna hijack your thread, superhigh...but question..can you overdo it with molasses? Ive been doing it molasses ,molasses, water. I'm on like day 33 of flowering(since May 5) and I'm seeing some yellowing leaves and a few dropping off...it was just the bottom fans, but its moving up to the other big fans, the little ones are ok.
