Fuck these Arizona dispensaries. Ive been living and working in Denver the past 6 months and well, got quite used to a weed economy that not only works, but is thriving. Very cheap and killer flowers, wax, edibles....you name it. Extremely cheap too. Ozs of the kiler, 2 for $250 bucks. 1/4s are 40 half ozs are 70 wax is 20 bucks a gram. And they are raking in the money hand over fist. The money is in moving weight, bot this by the gram BS these dispensaries love. You move a lb by the gram, or 30 lbs by the oz. Do the math. Growers are everywhere and noone cares.
Unfortunately my company took a nose dive and back in Az I am. I went into the dispensary in Sierra Vista yesterday for the first time. $20 a gram, no deals. I asked wtf and he tried to explain to me that it costs so much to drive the weed down here from Tucson. I was like, its a 45 minute drive, wtf ar you talking about? Over $550 an oz......fuck you, and your price gauging you asshat. You come into my town, take away my right to grow, then think I should feel grateful that you're here? Fuck off
The only reason Im glad they exist is to bring tax money into state gov't, IMO thats the only way the laws will be lifted and weed regulated in this red state. One they catch on that moving a large amount of weed instead of this nickel and dime shit, prices will fall. Until then its P2P for me.

$20gram does not mean that they are selling you an Oz for $500+. It means they are selling you a gram for $20. Think about it.
Perhaps if you asked for an ounce they would say $300. Sounds like you might be assuming a bit. Not all the Dispensaries are bad people.

A bunch reps. from Nevada went down to AZ to get ideas for setting up dispensaries. They came back with a 25 miles rule like AZ's. Well, we bitched and screamed now they are giving us two years grandfathered in. More discussions will be had about this shit. Hopefully in two years 3-5 more states will have full legalization. Anyway it sucks having to stop growing since I may have finally figured it out. I wish the douche bags would have gone to CO for lessons. Ugh!

I've asked Green Halo and the Vista place both for a deal on the ozs. The place in Vista laughed, and Green Halo said no way.
Yes Ive met quite a few dispensary owners who were very respectable people. Unfortunately they were not in Az.

that guy tells me he grows a pound a month for less than 100 bucks i think he even said less than 50 crazy.... any ways if that's so true he should already have the money saved up for it and he's been growing for a minute so i dont get it... LIke the guy's passion but seems a lil eccentric...

P2P has made the news and it is the exact thing that is going to cost the people of aZ the entire MJ program if it keeps going the way it is. Stupid people doing P2P on Craigslist, robbing each other and selling to cops. Bunch of dumbasses.
Find a good Dispensary and stick with it. Ask for discounts, become a member or whatever they want, donate your meds to them in exchange for deep discounts for the next year. etc etc... BE SMART PEOPLE.
The Dispensaries are here to stay. Don't follow the idiots over a cliff with the idea of P2P while its still on the border of even being close to legal.
Wise up before we all lose out. The only people greedier than the "bad" Dispensary owners is the bedroom growers telling everyone that they should be buying from them instead of going to Dispensaries.
Think about how stupid that is. Seriously. Think.
