When it is legal, I plan to grow ten plants to maturity and record my expenses. The first year I expect to have bad results because I am new to gardening. The second year I expect to nail it because I learn fast and I am not lazy. I expect my costs to be around five dollars per pound. I will send you a pound when it is legal.

i mean, you won't even have a patch of land to plant at that rate. 50 square feet per plant minimum across 10 plants is 500 square feet in use over 4+ months. rent alone will prevent you from ever having a penny to spend on water. you might be able to fish a 5 gallon bucket off the side of the road for free and lug water from a local ditch. but then, how will you afford a pair of scissors to trim it?

nutrients alone will put you over budget. seeds or clones alone will consume at least half your budget.

Guess Im just glad they had money for rent and bottles of nutrients and bags of special grow soil when the first weed plant was discovered or they might not of been able to grow any amount of weed without some cash to fund the grow, damn! Fuckin plant would of gone extinct had it not been for the likes of garden shops and the grow gods of forums like these.

You're probably right, my five dollars per pound is probably wrong. It will probably come in at about $0.50 per pound.
